I'm sitting here. I just ordered and the Miso soup came immediately. Based upon how astonishingly good that soup was, I'm just handing the towel and giving this place 10 stars. Catch up Google.

Come for the Miso. Stay for the food.

Fresh and delicious. The avocado combo (tuna/avocado, salom/avocado & yam/avocado rolls) was great value and the fish tasted super fresh. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and on the street.

Best sushi in the region. Very few tables for dining in and you order and pay at the counter. Everything we have ever had here is just top notch. If you love sushi, this place is not to be missed

One of my fav nelson spots to dine for lunch or dinner. Quick and easy, always delicious and staff are lovely. Highly recommend the pork/miso Ramen & Chicken donburi!

I love this restaurant! It’s the best place to get sushi in Nelson. The staff are very nice and the food comes quite fast most of the time. Seating is a little limited but there are usually empty tables to find a seat at. They always have ice cold water that is self-serve, and their food is amazing. I’ve also tried many seaweed salads before and they tasted really fishy and were just bad, but their seaweed salad is amazing. Fish is also always very soft and melts in your mouth. Amazing quality, service and food, 10/10 recommend.

We are vegan and they have a great selection of vegan items. Taka, his family and staff are really friendly. This place is a real gem in Nelson and so grateful to has this place.

Coming from Japan, and visiting with Japanese, the sushi here is far superior to anyplace else in town and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. A casual atmosphere with owners who know how to buy and prepare fresh seafood. A gem in Nelson and recommended for people who appreciate good sushi and sashimi.
