We were looking for a place to get a good coffee and breakfast over the weekend, and boy were we happy to find l&c! The food was amazing, the coffee was perfect and the service and atmosphere was wonderful. It took us being back to Europe in lovely little cafes. They were such creative pastries but tasted amazing, and were so affordably priced! We would recommend the slice of quiche, chocolate almond croissants, mango cheesecake and the breakfast sandwiches. The barista even did the cutest thing with my pumpkin spiced latte! We will absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

Stopped in to get breakfast and lunch snacks and so glad we did! The Choclatines were the best I have ever had, the quiche was delicious and the coffee was strong and perfect. All of the offerings looked amazing, you can’t go wrong here.. true French baking at its best!
Great coffee and amazing baked goods. I had the smoked salmon bagel and the almond croissant (on different days ?). If this bakery was back home in Glasgow the queue would be round the block!! Warm and friendly service. Holiday over and I am missing it already ?

This came up in our Google search as best breakfast in Nelson, for very good reason. It was exceptionally good. Quick service with a knowledgeable smile. The obvious French recipes are true to rich and tasty and not tongue curdling sweet. Well done.
