This place is amazing. If I could change one thing it would be the terribly designed beige on beige menu that is nearly unreadable by anyone over 50 in the lighting conditions. It's a minor complaint, no points deducted because the food and service were outstanding and the decor is absolutely beautiful!

Was told they couldn't accommodate our party despite having a nearly empty restaurant. We were a party of 9 and they claimed the tables are to heavy to move, we agreed to dine in two groups, they were reluctant but let us sit. Food came out almost 30 minutes apart between the two groups despite ordering at the same time and it wasn't anything special either. Interesting vibe here and not in a good way...

Just wow. The best restaurant i ever been in ambience-wise (and I am a seasoned traveller!). I am someone who appreciates attention to details. And every detail in this lounge is spot-on. The live musician played very nice jazzy music fitting the atmosphere perfectly in the optimal volume. Not too loud to be overpowering, but not to quiet to get lost in conversation noise. Rarely do you get a comfy chair in a restaurant, but these chairs... I still think about them haha! And the little vintage steam-ship decoration next to the bar... Such a sweet nod to the area and the Moyie ship museum, which we had visited the day before. The food and drinks were nice, not the best, but the atmosphere is what makes this place a true stand-out gem to me. Make sure to visit and leave some nice tips!
Such a principled man I am. I chose dessert. Pie special no ice cream $10.00. Another at our table order same special Only with ice cream. $14.00. Pie special on menus $9.00 with out ice cream. Asked waitress who served Table 13 two times to reprice my dessert as I knew it was incorrect. I paid more than required and was very disappointed that the waitress (Stella) didn’t catch the error. It was a$1.00 difference. No big deal but the principle was very disappointing

It’s a nice room don’t get me wrong. Lots of history here and it builds up to your cocktail being unique and amazing. Server was mediocre. Didn’t engage in conversation or any pleasantries - and no it wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night with 3 other couples at 9:45pm. I ordered my tequila cocktail. Regular glassware, regular ice cubes, and tasted like something I could make at home. Absolutely nothing to write home about for over $20 after tip. I love their bar, food and the pool table area. I’ll stick with this side of the bar.

We came in for dinner on a Saturday which is prime rib night. So this is what we ordered. It was amazing! Cocktails were strong, The decor and atmosphere are cozy and stunning, and the service was great. I would definitely come back.

Amazing meal, great food, in the classic setting. Really enjoyed our meal here, the prime rib meal was particularly good. It is important to note that it is 19+ only which impacted a number of people who wanted tables.

Excellent jazz lounge pianist playing live on a Thursday night, fish and chips with blueberry-rosemary vinaigrette on salad were all delicious. Followed it up with the delicious cashew cream dessert and a jasmine green tea. Busy place. All the meals coming out looked good. Very old-school atmosphere was perfect.
