After a long trip from overseas, I had my first proper meal in Canada here. I had a slight craving for Greek food and so ordered the lamb burger, which was close enough. Other times I have had lamb burgers or the like, they tended to be dry. The burger here, though, was perfect. Juicy and delicious with a nice dollop of tzatziki. My companion's fish and chips also looked fantastic. The food was simple and nicely done - and the server was very friendly. A great meal for a tired traveler.

Great Greek surprise! We stayed at the sweet little hotel across the street and wandered over for dinner - what a coup! Delicious and authentic - lively presentation as well! Way to go Nelson! Win, win!

On a Rainy Day after Visiting the outdoor Market my Mom and I Found this Fun Diner. I Had the Wrap with the Chicken and mild Salsa and I think My mom had kind of a seafood wrap or Something like that. The Colslaw was very good too and the Lemonade. Some Kind Man said you can use the Table outside under a cover. The cover wasn't a Problem when it rained. The Lemonade was fine I don't Remember seeing any Milkshakes there I don't think they do but it was Ok but still had fun. The Lady Server I had was Fine. Forgotten her name. Nelson is a Amazing little City in British Columbia. The Food turned out Fine there.
Love it!!! My family keeps coming back every year! The people where very friendly and very helpful!!! The food is the very best!! And it is very kid friendly!!

This is by no doubt the best place to eat when in Nelson. The staff is Amazing and the food is so delicious. After eating dinner we had to find out who was the chef only to discover he is also the owner of the restaurant. The menu is diverse and we wish we were staying longer to try a few more things. The taste of the dishes are all unique. We have eaten at many restaurants and we can clearly taste this is not just the regular.

Long time Main Street Diner customer, first time reviewer :) I’m in awe at the consistency of this place. Any restaurant can be good, it takes something special to keep that quality bar so high for so long. Having visited the area my whole life, nothing feels more quintessentially Nelson in the summer than to enjoy a delicious meal on the Diner patio and take in the sights and sounds of Baker Street. Can’t wait to visit again soon!
