Excellent service! We come here multiple times every year when visiting Nelson, and the service always exceeds our expectations. They are rather quick to serve us our food, even despite having busy crowds. The servers are super polite and friendly, and it has become one of our favourite restaurants! The food is very delicious and inclusive for gluten free diets, which is much appreciated. You can tell that there is a huge differece in quality between the food here and other, more popular, restaurants. Only thing that we noticed each visit is that there is a lot of surrounding noise from large groups, and somehow we are always right next to them, which can be unfortunate 😅. Either way, thank you very much, and we look forward to coming back soon.

Our meal at Marzano couldn't have been more perfect. My husband and I shared a kale Caesar salad, a Mexican pizza (special of the night), charred broccolini, and a chocolate mousse dessert with crunchy chocolate cookie bits and a peach compote. Our waitress was good, the food came out very fast, and the patio outside was great. I wanted to lick the plate from the dessert it was so utterly delicious. We are gluten-free and it's not an issue there at all. We try to avoid seed oils and I'm pretty sure they use olive oil. It was a perfect night out for my birthday!

Marzano is my favourite restaurant in the world right now and has been for six months. I ate through the whole menu a few times and keep trying the new things when it changes.
I have been to many many many more restaurants too in many cities but keep returning to Marzano whenever I can. Love the authentic and delicious wood oven pizza with neat, fresh, and fantastic ingredients. The brunches are wildly tasty 😋. The drinks are always great - highly recommend the Marzano Caesar with choice of vodka, gin, or tequila. I always get all the sorbet flavours each time if I have time and space because they are always so so good and time-limited.
Plenty of parking across the street in the Best Western lot. They are owned by the same folks. Let the Best Western folks next to Marzano’s know you parked there but it’s generally no problem anyway.
All the staff always tell me they love working here. Many have been there for years. The owners and management seem wonderful - and it shows in the vibe and the food.

I'm so happy we chose to dine here. The food was excellently prepared. The summer lamb pasta was incredible, as was the spaghetti and meatball. The pasta sauce was light, and the meat was perfectly seasoned with just a bit of spice.
