Nothing like paying $22 for a buddy burger and a salad the size of a ping pong ball.I get it .... Food costs are high.... But come on.We're going to a&w on the drive home to fill the void.My daughter is starving still after her 2 chicken pinkies.So disappointed.

The Hume is such a beautiful heritage building, their food and beer selection is also excellent ?Vegetarian options: The biggest, most cheesiest, loaded plate of nachos you can imagine!Also great veg burger, and their Forest Floor pizza is insane.Kid-friendliness: We absolutely love Mike's Place! We bring the kids in with us before 8 pm. We love to play foosball together, the shuffleboard, pool tables, and darts board are also so much fun. My 3 year old loves to explore, as there are many levels of the Hume you can walk through.

Great place. Popped in from out of town for a ski trip and hungry after a long day. Service was alright, the server walked past us multiple times as we tried to call her over for drinks. Then the food was gross and insanely small portions for how expensive it was. Super disappointed as it’s a really cool place. Noticed we were the only table eating that should have been our red flag. Grab a drink but don’t bother with food it’s a waste of money and time.

The best pub in town!!! Always great food and some of the best service out there!It's always the place to be in Nelson!
You walk in, and you think typical pub food is all that will be available. I was proved wrong! The food was amazing and the service was great as well. I had the lamb and it was so tender. They are doing great things here. The only downside was the bathroom, which needs a few repairs or a good makeover.

We were in Nelson for two days visiting from the Okanagan. We had been struggling to find a pub that made us feel really welcome and relaxed when we stumbled on Mike’s. Such a welcoming staff, friendly and engaging, solid English pub food, and we ended up staying for a couple hours playing backgammon and enjoying our time. Cannot recommend enough!
