Fabulous little place. Very popular and seating is at a premium inside. We got a table which was awesome. Coffee was fabulous and the baked goods were phenomenal. Very lively and busy place with a happy hum of people enjoying the space.

If you are looking for the most delicious coffee, atmosphere, food/treats and service in Nelson, I cannot recommend Oso Negro enough. Meteor (Dark Roast) is the favorite blend in our home. Check out the amazing garden in the summer for a relaxing oasis. YOU will not regret going here!!!! :)

It’s incredibly rare these days to find a place that delivers true, unwavering quality. I’m not someone who likes to speak negatively about others—but I do love celebrating businesses and people who have earned real respect through their craftsmanship.
My wife and I recently visited your coffee shop, and we were genuinely blown away. The food and service were excellent, but the coffee… that was something else entirely. As proud coffee snobs, we have to say your roasted beans and overall quality are on a level that major chains like Starbucks could only dream of. Maybe they once started where you are now, but you’ve held onto something special.
I also have to mention—my wife’s absolute favourite is the “Princess of Darkness.” She talks about it constantly, and nothing else compares.

Beautiful space but the indoor tables are a little tight and anchored so they can't be shifted. It's also painfully loud indoors but looks like it would be a lovely place outdoors in warmer weather.
