Lovely atmoshere, fantastic food & wine that is beautifully presented. We were especially impressed with our server Louise. He described many menu items patiently, with skill and enthusiasm. He helped us choose the right wine to accompany our dishes. He was so gracious with us that I thought he was the proprieter! Thankyou Louise & Sage for a great experience. We'll be back soon!

Awesome view, delicious food and amazing service. We came for our anniversary and had two drinks each, the duck breast, peach and burrata salad and pan seared salmon and it was so so good (and we had leftovers). Didn’t get pictures of everything before we dug in - oops! And they brought out a complimentary caramel cheesecake as an anniversary treat:)

While visiting Nelson we ate at Sage twice. The first night my husband and I shared the charcuterie board the grilled peace salad and mushroom risotto. All outstanding. The second night I had the shrimp salad and my husband had caeser salad. Delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Took my parents here for their 26th anniversary. I had seen the tomahawk steak on their menu previously and it was incredibly worth it. My dad and I are both 6'3~ish, big men, and we still had leftovers.Some of the best steak I have personally ever had. All that and it came out to ~$60 a person (at time of writing) extremely good value for your money in my opinion.

Mixed feelings about our experience here. First, this is not a real tapas bar. Second, the service, while polite was slow and it wasn't a busy night at all. The menu has good selections. The dinner we had was good, but not excellent. Nice atmosphere.
