I am never the one to complain about food but this experience was unique. I have a very few times in my life not finished my food until today. Either excessive salty or excessively sweet crapy vegan food at its best, nothing in between. Patties were dry, wasn’t asked once if the food was to our liking by the staff. No body on my table finished their food and it killed our appetite to top it all off. Not to mention the high price for the quality of food which was shitty at best. Save your money and the misery of an absolute disastrous food.

We're travelling right now, and I miss Sprout. Not every town has a place with a great selection of vegan food that leaves you feeling full and healthy. Not most towns.
I have been coming here for many years and is my go to spot. They have amazing vegan wraps and other items. Service is always fast and delicious with a reasonable price point. So grateful to have this place in the west Kootenays.

I would only make 2 recommendations (not criticizing just suggestions) to maybe add a soup (although the one they have is FANTASTIC) and more drink options. Other than that I could eat here every day! I really appreciate, in the days of gouging, that the prices for quality food are fair!

As a long time Kootenay resident I can say this is one of the best restaurants to grab a healthy, nourishing and delicious meal. I am continually impressed with the food here. I just had my first veggie burger and it was the best one I have eaten in years. Great place for a staff lunch or meeting place in the summer where you can sit on the patio.
