We visited as a group of 8, and our server, made the entire experience amazing. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, which made our time at the restaurant warm and enjoyable. The dishes he recommended were exactly what we were looking for, and we were all really impressed.
I mentioned that I’m celiac, and he took great care to make sure everything was safe for me. He was very knowledgeable about the procedures and ingredients, which made us feel secure about what we were eating. His reassurance allowed me to relax and enjoy the meal without any worry. We will definetly be back!

I usually order a bento at this restaurant. Korean food is also offered on the menu. Best value is on lunch menu where prices are less. Bento box teriyaki chicken came with miso soup which didn’t have any tofu. Salad could use more dressing. Overall, food was delicious, service was friendly.

We visited this restaurant yesterday as a group of six and had a very disappointing experience. The lady serving us was extremely rude. One of us has a severe crab meat allergy, and we specifically informed her not to include any crab in our sushi. Unfortunately, the food still came with crab. When we pointed this out, she just laughed and walked away—it seemed like she didn’t understand English, which made the situation even worse.
Because of this, my daughter and I had to skip our meal to avoid an allergic reaction. We also ordered Korean dishes, but she got those wrong as well. The rest of our family ate because they were hungry, but the entire experience was stressful and disappointing. We will definitely not be returning.

Called ahead, they informed me they have protocols for allergies and even asked if the gluten allergy was celiac disease (which I am celiac). When arrived, the waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu. Informed me they prepare it separately to avoid cross contamination. I wasn't very hungry so just had a couple maki rolls but she did inform me any roll with tempura can be sub with bowled yam or plan shrimp. They even have tamari!!
Very happy, very impressed.

Best sushi and Korean food in the Kootenays. The interior aesthetic is super nice, too. Hoping the Castlegar location opens soon!

Me and the wife went for lunch and we shared the OMG and we each had a pint of beer . The beer came in a very frosted mug which was a pleasant surprise. The sushi roll itself was very tasty. The problem for us was the cleanliness of the place . The floor was very dirty , we can see lots of dust and the bathroom was very unclean . The table felt sticky and even the soy sauce container was very grimy. Looking around you can see all the staff on their phones and not really paying attention to the customers or even care about the place . Never used to be like this, hopefully they get it together. For now , we will go elsewhere.

The first thing you nice is how pretty the restaurant is. Window seats to private booths. Attentive service and a wide ranging menue. My friend was able to have her dietary accommodations promptly met. Service was discreet and attentive.

This is a great Japanese/Korean restaurant in Nelson - located just off of the main street, Baker st. The food and the service are always enjoyable - especially Korean dishes they have. However, they have portable AC everywhere in the hall, and small flies seem to find their ways into the restaurant quite easily.

Huge shoutout to Chef Garry for making one of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Every piece was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. You can tell he puts real passion into his work. Highly recommend!

I've been here a couple times in a group of 8. There has always been space before 7pm even on a Friday night and service is good.
The Japanese and Korean options are very good but the spicy Korean options are not as spicy as would be typical in South Korea.
