Autumn took care of us went above and beyond to welcome us to Nelson. The food was delicious and hot. The onion rings were great, and if you like just a little heat the chicken sandwich was top notch.

Great sports pub. You're getting food from Lou's Steakhouse, but at pub prices. The staff are all great, and clearly love working there.
Love this place to go for lunch when I go to Nelson every couple of weeks. The food is always awesome and tastes delicious. We have tried a few things on the menu and have never been let down. The service is always great and a very friendly atmosphere.

This place is just so consistent it's crazy. Always great food and always great service! Shoutout to Andre and his team! We always enjoy our experiences here! We especially love the Burgers, the beer battered fries, the wings and the chili con queso! Food comes quickly with great service and they have great beer on tap and great specials! One thing we ordered for take out that we didn't enjoy was the pizza. Maybe it was just the day we ordered it but it wasn't our favourite. That being said, everything else we have ever ordered was fantastic and I highly recommend trying both the food and the drinks here. The service is always great and the one time we went in to just share an appy and didn't want drinks, we felt zero judgement for that and were treated the same as when we order upwards of $100+. Great place to enjoy food, the atmosphere and the beverages. Definitely recommend to any and everyone! Thank-you Uptown Tavern!

I enjoyed drinks at their bar where the staff, particularly Xavier and the other servers (whose name I forget), were incredibly friendly. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks and features a sports bar atmosphere along with a pool table. Although they have a good selection of food available, unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try it. Overall, it was a great experience.
Food was average at best. The bibimbap was so spicy it was almost inedible. The 'creamy pesto' was almost all cream and no pesto, the 'garlic bread' all bread and no garlic...very bland. We also waited quite a long time after ordering to get our food. Won't be back.
