Fantastic food, cocktails, and service. I grew up in Seattle and have visited Vietnam so my expectations were low. It wasn’t necessarily the most authentic, but flavors were punchy and fresh. Everything was great: pork and mushroom bao buns, veggie and meat spring rolls, banh mi, and several noodle bowls. The bartender recommended some legit cocktails, and they don’t miss on the mocktails either. I would definitely return!

Busy place. Had the Phô sizzle with the duck meatballs. It was delicious. Pricier than Vancouver and smaller portions but still worth the visit.

The amount of broth given for the chicken Pho is ridiculous. It barely covers half the contents. Major disappointment.

Amazing food / service & atmosphere. Super cozy on a chilly day. Tried their sockeye salmon burger with a side of broth and I was blown away ! Best burger I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend stopping in :)

I just have to give Yum Son a huge rave. Totally always consistent great service, absolutely delicious menu. Always so pleased to support this great restaurant, Another Nelson jewel. The lime soy wings are always such a treat.

We are regular customers at the restaurant and have always enjoyed excellent service during our morning visits. However, our experience yesterday at 5 PM with our 3.5-year-old daughter and 13-month-old baby was disappointing. It was the first time we felt truly uncomfortable in this establishment.
The staff appeared rude and unaccommodating. When my daughter accidentally dropped her glass of water, the waitress wiped it up half-heartedly, leaving the floor wet. We ended up cleaning it ourselves, and no one offered to replace the glass.
On several occasions, we were told to move our baby away, which made us feel unwelcome. We had only intended to apologize for any misunderstanding. It seemed clear that the staff may not have a fondness for young children.
Given this treatment, we are unlikely to return anytime soon, despite our previous weekly visits. However, the food was as delicious as always.

Wonderful food, loved the porkbelly Bao. Incredible view of the Kootenay landscape from the outdoor patio. The mocktail menu had plenty options! Our mocktails were great and had exciting flavor to them! Would visit again. The price for everything however was a bit too steep to visit often.
