Bubble World-New Westminster

This place is my go to for bubble tea. My daughter and I find ourselves picking up our favourites, multiple times a week. Mine is a coconut slushy. It’s like a thick, creamy, slice of Heaven. It’s also good with full sugar, but I’ve started to do half sugar to keep the calories down. I never expected myself to drink this multiple times a week lol. That’s also why I don’t get pearls, but they’re also good. My daughter’s favourite is black sugar pearl milk tea, hot. My favourite part is they always get the order right. So being so consistent, I’m able to order and I know I’m gonna enjoy my drink. Thank you bubble world.
They just started doing construction around there, so it’s a bit hard to pick up our orders, but that will not deter us to get our bubble teas lol. See you soon. March 14, 2025

Stale food..not recommended.. Ruined our Christmas, we left shocked when staff behaviour was we don’t care!!

Avoid at at all cost. I was here to pickup uber eats order and the front staff is so rude and disrespectful. When I raised my concern about the customer order, they have give negative rating on the uber to me decreasing my chances of making ends meeting during tough times. Shame on the guy at front staff, Karma will serve you better.

It’s sad to see the Richmond location close recently, but we’re so glad the New Westminster location is still going strong!

We absolutely love their menu dedicated to authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Highly recommend the Taiwanese Chicken — it’s perfectly crispy and seasoned! The personal hot pots are another highlight:
beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and a true comfort meal. Their bubble tea is always our favourite. It’s also a great spot to dine with non-Asian friends who want to explore Taiwanese flavours. 😇

It’s hard to find a great restaurant with good food and service but Bubble World really delivered both. Alin was super attentive, professional and friendly. My family of 10 came for dinner and she was super attentive to all the small young children. Highly recommended for family with small children! Thank you Alin for your great service and will sure to be back again!

We ordered 2 taro slushes. We don’t normally come here but we’re in the area so figured why not try it. We couldn’t even finish the drinks that’s how bad they were. There were chunks of ice in them and the flavour was terrible.

Pretty good. Had a meeting in the area and went in for a quick bite. Tried the lamb, it was cooked pretty well. Upgraded to a combo for $4.50 more rather than buying steamed rice for $1.50. They obviously know what they are doing as the dishes look amazing.

I am very impressed with the staff at bubble world. Especially the lady with the short hair (I think her named started with an A)

We came as a group of 20 on Sept 21, near closing hour after Gospel Night, an event at anvil center. Personally, I was just going to get a drink and leave since I wasn't feeling well. But the group was too big and the orders took a long time.

All the while, this staff was extremely patient with us, and wasn't angry at all, eveb though some people in our group weren't being the most respectful. It took 30 minutes to get everyone's order, and it was already last call.

By the time they were closing up, we were paying our bill. Some people in our group were taking a group photo, and our waitress offered to take one for us.

Bubble World is always my favorite Taiwanese restaurant because it was one of the first ones in greater Vancouver. I'm glad that the quality of both food and service has not changed.

Love bubble world but they keep forgetting to add straw, like tonight. How can I drink grass jelly drink without a straw?

Today is july 25. Me and my colleauge took an uber after we get off from work as health care workers at 9pm and we reach the restaurant around 9:18pm. We were informed that the restaurant is already closed and we order anymore at 9:18 pm while it clearly says on google that the restaurant is open til 10 pm. Is this true? If not how come they never entertain us? We are exhausted from taking care of patients so we went down to your restaurant to treat ourselves for a good asian food only to turn us down at 9:18pm because of a lame excuse. If you guys are not going to accept orders anymore during those operation hours maybe its about time to change the closing time of 10 pm to 930pm. This is not acceptable. I need to speak to your upper management. Next time well keep that in mind that u are close at 930pm.
