DO NOT EAT HERE unless you like to have food poisoning.
I ordered last night.. wonton soup, bbq rice, lemon chicken and wontons. $70 worth of food literally down the toilet 5 hours later.
Place should be shut down

Not impressed with the customer service nor with their ginger chicken. I always order it and this time they decided to add chilli sauce in it!! My kids mouths were burning in pain!!! This is not okay!!! I even doubled checked the menu item!!
**** Add chilli sauce to the item on the menu , if it has chilli sauce in it!!!!!

The sweet and sour pork container was sparse and about half full only. Barely any meat, lots of batter..

I found a plastic nub in my food when I ordered out I found it in the pork friend rice, on top the food is not up to par and bland compared to other restaurants

I got 4 dishes and there was zero flavour in any of them. everything is oily and badly underseasoned. have a talk with your Monday chef because you can't be ok with serving food like this.

I wish I could rate them better. Food is so-so. I’m not sure if they serve more authentic Chinese food off-menu but everything screamed Canadian-Chinese. Everything we ordered that was fried was tough and chewy. The only dish I liked was chicken in black bean sauce and the special chow mein. And we ordered 11 dishes. Not really return worthy sadly as Chinese in New West is limited and I don’t want to travel long distances for takeaway.

The place is a hidden gem. Typical Chinese restaurant decor and great-tasting food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and witty. We got all the attention since we were the only table seated at the end of the night.

The atmosphere gets 3 stars because it was really chilly with the aircon. And while the food was great, it doesn’t look like a place to go for special occasions.

It seemed that they rushed making the food because The food was bland , Broccoli was mushy. It was honestly disappointing because the reviews were saying the food was good... never ordering here again!!

Dissapointed as I believe I received the wrong item. Dont read this wrong. The food here is excellant and tastes great. But I ordered "pork chow mein with oyster sauce (crispy). ' This is exactly how it reads on the menu. What I got was a plate of broccoli, in sauce, with some carrot and a slice of bbq pork, on top of a tiny amount of soft noodles. Enough broccoli for 4 but bareley enough noodles for one! I called to complain and said that nowhere on the menu does it say there is a ton of broccoli in this dish. I was told that this is how we make it and be careful what you order next time. In 60 plus years of eating Canadian/Western Style Chinese food, I have never seen chow mein presented as a plate of broccoli and other vegetables on a small portion of soggy noodles. Especially when they were supposed to be crispy. The issue here is not that they were not crispy, but it was simply not what I ordered. Somebody else got my order, but they denied this. NOT HAPPY.
