Service is always fast but the milk tea drinks are so watery. Not only the flavour but the consistency as well. They're more like flavoured water with a touch of milk powder than like actual milk tea even compared to other Chatime locations.

I came here after my coworker raved about Chatime and I have to say, this place gave me a greater perspective on life.I arrived, waited a sec as the lady at the counter finished up an order and approached the till. We locked eyes for a few seconds as she sipped on water. When she was done, I asked "Can I order now?" She then removed her airpods and stared blankly at me.I think I understand now where boomers get the persecution complex they bring with them to every retail establishment. When someone doesn't take their expired coupon or apologize on their hands and knees for not having their exact product and brand in stock, they probably feel marginally more slighted than I did in that moment. Thanks to Chatime, my eyes are open.The tea? I paid $7 for one of the teas of all time.

After checking the place is open, I placed an order and paid online using their site and the website gave me a pickup time however after arriving at the store, the door was closed and they were unreachable by phone.I'm wondering what happened. I hope they reach out to refund..

I ordered earl grey milk tea from here and I definitely did not get it. The tea tasted nothing like earl grey so i am assuming the lady made whatever was available and handed it to me. Why can’t they just say it’s unavailable? I would just pick something else. I had multiple instances here where the tea was not good or the bobas were not fresh. It looks like it’s run by one person, they should hire one more person.

I once went here and received undercooked pearls. I could taste and see raw starch in the middle. Then the barista had the audacity to look at me in my eyes and tell me I was wrong. Then he scooped some pearls, tasted them for himself and said they were fine… Hopefully that guy was just being rude for no reason, and Chatime doesn’t teach their employees that raw pearls are okay to serve.

I found a piece of metal in my drink.I assume it came from canned toppings, and I guess I was just unlucky.That being said, I'm sort of afraid of drinking stuff from the store.

Tried to use the washroom here. The owner wouldn't let me use the washroom before ordering, which was fair. But when I was willing to order, she told me she was busy and told me to wait. Bad service, petty owner, and terrible environment to study.

My partner needed to use the bathroom as an emergency. Despite my partner promising to purchase a drink following the bathroom use, the worker for today's shift (and at this time) forced her to hold it in, pay for a drink first, then use the bathroom.I understand that there is a no public bathroom policy.I understand the safety concerns surrounding the reasoning behind this.My partner and I, however, live within a 1 block radius to the New Westminster establishment,and my partner had promised to purchase a drink following the needed use of the bathroom.Due to my partner feeling humiliated in this establishment, we will no longer be returning with our business nor suggesting this branch to those within our neighbourhood.Horrible unempathetic service.I am terribly disappointed and will no longer be doing business with the New Westminster branch of Chatime.
