It’s a bit small but overall is good. The staffs are nice. They have 2 washrooms. The tables kinda small. Perfect for chatting not study. I would comeback 👍🏻

If you're searching for the perfect breakfast spot, Craft Cafe in New Westminster by the waterfront has quickly become one of my favorite go-to places. The cozy atmosphere paired with a stunning view of the Fraser River makes for a delightful dining experience.
The waffle here is simply divine. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. It's a must-try if you're in the mood for something indulgent. If you prefer something more savory, the avocado toast will hit the spot! Fresh avocado spread over perfectly toasted bread with a sprinkle of seasoning. It’s simplicity at its finest but incredibly satisfying.
The view of the waterfront is an absolute highlight, offering a serene backdrop for your meal. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a solo breakfast, Craft Cafe is the ideal place to start your day right. Highly recommend this spot if you're in New West and craving a great breakfast with a view.

I love this place - staff are super friendly, you get to have a cup of coffee near the water. Great spot :) I can’t comment on food as I normally just get coffee.

Nice place nice people and good food. Recommended!
There’s underground pay parking within walking distance. The coffee and sandwiches were good, but nothing was particularly exceptional. The outdoor view by the river was lovely, making it a pleasant experience to sit with friends and family on a sunny day.

Craft Cafe is not only set in a beautiful location with stunning waterfront views, but the experience goes far beyond that. After enjoying a meal or drink, you can take a peaceful stroll along Quayside. The drinks, both hot and cold, are of outstanding quality—especially the matcha latte, which stands out from anything I've tasted elsewhere. What really sets this cafe apart is the staff. They are incredibly welcoming, patient, and show a genuine interest in making sure everything is just the way you like it. In all my time visiting cafes in Vancouver, I haven’t encountered a team as attentive and caring as this one. Every visit feels personal, with friendly greetings and familiar smiles, as if you’re visiting family. Even after a break between visits, walking back in reminds me how much I missed the warm, cozy atmosphere that perfectly balances comfort and personal space. After a few visits, you start seeing familiar faces because it’s impossible not to want to return.
The staff manage to create an environment that feels both welcoming and professional, and they do it effortlessly. It’s clear that the management is top-notch, which is no surprise given that Craft Cafe has been voted the best cafe bar in New Westminster (I spotted the certificate proudly displayed in the cafe). The seasonal drinks, freshly baked goods, and healthy options only add to the charm. The atmosphere is peaceful, the music calming, and the overall experience is unforgettable. As someone who’s very particular about cafes, Craft Cafe has become my favorite, not just because of the amazing food and drinks, but for the the comforting, welcoming environment the staff cultivate with their warm and genuine service.

Nice staff and coffee
I had a very disappointing experience here; it seems that Google reviews may not always capture the true quality and service, a significant discrepancy between online ratings and actual experiences.

I'm an Italian in Vancouver and I can say that here I had a real Aperol spritz at only 8$! Moreover I ate a delicious vegan chocolate cake... I abs will return!
The service was a bit slow but it was worth it

The atmosphere and food were great, and most of the staff were friendly, except for one person who seemed to ignore me on purpose. When I asked her for a takeout container, she seemed annoyed, slowly separated two boxes for about a minute, and then, instead of handing them to me—though I was just a step away—she walked off to the kitchen. I had to ask another staff member for a container. As I was leaving, feeling ignored, she reappeared, sitting nearby to work on something. I politely said, "I'm sorry if I bothered you earlier. Didn’t know you were in the middle of something”, hoping she'd acknowledge the situation, but she just smiled and said, "Oh, no problem." Lol. What an attitude.

Just moved to the area. First little cafe I’ve tried. And I don’t think I need to try any other ?
Quick, efficient, and friendly service. Food is delish. And lots of outdoor seating. 10/10 ?
