Food is pretty good here and is like back in Trinidad š¹š¹. Nice how there is also products you can buy. Prices are a bit expensive but I guess everything is going up these days. Prices are higher now than the pics I took earlier. Service could be better. The owner could remember we are in Canada and not all customers like the blunt talk Caribbean people might be used to.
Vegetarian options: Chana and aloo, aloo pie, and doubles!!!!
Parking: Paid street parking but pay! Because there are people checking the meters. If you walk up a block you can get parking on a side street.
Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome

They do not supply forks or plates. We where on our way somewhere and thought we would stop by and try. The food was fantastic but it's obviously very messy. I would have paid a bit more even for a plate and utensils. Other then that very delicious.

Decided to try our luck here as finding good Caribbean food is hard in the greater Vancouver area/ lower mainland and itās close to where myself and partner live. My partner is Jamaican and he had called to inquire on if the food item that is traditionally Jamaican shown online was available and was met with a rude response from whom we presume is the owner needing to ensure my that my partner felt his question was stupid and why would he even ask as they are trini. We decided that we would still try the food another time so we walked in and were the only ones in the store. No greeting from the man at the desk and the vibes were way off. I ordered the jerk chicken but he said āno jerk chickenā so I chose the stew chicken. We waited for our food and went to eat it in the store when we were told we canāt sit and eat and must leave. Covid signs and social distancing signs are still up 4 years later. We made it clear that we felt that was rude to kick us out especially if there is chairs and bar table to sit at and no one else in the store. None the less, the food was in fact fresh and delicious but itās hard to overlook how we felt and were treated as patrons trying to support a small business. If the craving is strong enough, we will just order off of door dash.

The goat roti was not freshly made. I felt the dal roti and goat curry were previously frozen and just warmed up and put together. Highly disappointed and definitely not worth the price paid.

I've been searching for a good Caribbean place for a whiiile. This place never disappoints. I've only ever ordered delivery for the curry goat and jerk chicken and it's always hot and delicious. It's authentic, flavourful, spicy and I highly recommend and I will be trying everything on the menu.

It was my husband's birthday: we're 'senior seniors' and the goat rotis made the birthday. Absolutely delicious, plenty to eat.I made a simple raita, cucumber salad. So glad I did for the rotis we're spicy. We easily imagined the Caribbean with its steel drums. Many thanks to the Roti shack for providing a 'forever memory'.

This place is a joke. Found a hair in my food, showed it to the owner, business must be pretty good since he just shrugged and walked away. I was stunned. Will take my money to Baby Dal on Commercial Drive. Hope he goes under.
Not sure why when I stated my order clear and politely the owner repeated and ask me how many I wanted when I asked for an order of doubles, and aloo pies are on the menu but any time Iāve asked for them he never had
