I was in the mood for some Mexican food and found this place was on my way home. I am so glad I gave this place a shot! Staff was Hella friendly and helped me decide on the best tacos I have had in a while! Get their hot sauce! Everything made in house, so the tortillas are fresh and had the perfect consistency. Had to try their dessert menu and their mango sorbet and churros were something else. Intimate atmosphere. Check it out!

A local go to and one that the kids enjoy as well. The salsa trio with the home made chips is a great way to start. Ambiance is great and gives a nice Mexican feel but not the old school las margaritas version. Had my usual go to this last trip, the CARNE AHUMADA which comes domed so the server can lift the lid and let the smoke waft away. This wagyu flank was cooked just as requested, med rare, and has a nice outer crust thanks to the rub. My wife tried the EMPANADAS DE POLLO which were tasty and not overly filling. My son ordered the Pollo con Mole, the mole sauce was fantastic. We've always found the service good, granted we've had the same server (Liz) the last couple of times.

The cocktails were delicious but the food was very average for the price. Not many shrimp in the aguachile and the fish tacos were very bland

Went in a group of 7 people , server confirmed my order but not receiving my food after 45 mins , i got to know the kitchen never made it. Good luck going here.

Celebrated my husband's birthday here. Our first time at El Santos. What a wonderful experience! The service was great. At first they wanted to seat us at a high table (we were a party of 8) that didn't work for me, as I have a disability. They quickly corrected the situation and we got seating at a lower table. The server was amazing. Drinks were brought rapidly. Water was brought in a bottle and refreshed when needed. The menu, while not extensive, had great variety and there were lots of choices for everyone. Prices, while a little on the higher side than what we are used to for Mexican food. The old adage " you get what you pay for " highly applies here. Any explanation of dishes, or requests for changes etc. were accommodated and provided. Clearly a family owned and run establishment and ran with pride. Our order was taken, appetizers were served quickly, they were hot, well presented and tasted delicious. When the main course came, the food was well prepared and again presented very nicely.Waitress checked back several times to ensure everything was good. Brought more drinks etc.We didn't get the chance to try the dessert menu, as we had our own birthday cake, but I'm pretty certain it was equally good.I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return.I do suggest making a reservation though. They are super busy, and rightfully deserved ? ?

BEWARE this is NOT your typical Mexican place, it is a different type of restaurant. This is a Mexican place that does NOT have burritos, nachos, enchiladas, etcI STRONGLY advise you double check the food menu before ordering or going there at all.2 tiny tacos cost $ 16.Service and place are good, just make sure this is the place you want to go.

Went to El Santo for the first time and loved it. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great! I don’t know of many authentic Mexican spots in the area, so I was excited to stumble upon El Santo!

Give the brussels sprouts tacos a go, I’m a very proud meat eater but I could go vegetarian for a night with the options they have here.

Went last night on the recommendatation of a friend. WOW!!! Very cool place, the food is outstanding. Our waiter was good, friendly, offered great insight into the food overall. We started with the queso fundido. You can not go wrong with hot melted cheese. My partner had the Empanada de Pollo. I tried the Tacos de Pescado. We finished with a smoked berry sorbet that was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Only drawbacks, i forgot to mention I am allergic to peppers so I had to basically pull a lot of finely diced peppers of my tacos. The other is the noise level, but can't fault that because the place was jammed and with good reason. We are definitely going to be going back when it is in budget as it is pricey but the food is worth it. Already planning what we are going to try next time.
