Emerald Catering & Culinary Club – The Best Authentic Sri Lankan Plain and Egg Hoppers in Town!
We were looking for a great place to try hoppers and came across this spot based on a recommendation. I can confidently say it’s the best I’ve had in Vancouver areas! The hoppers are incredibly crispy, and the taste is simply mouth-watering.
Make sure to reserve in advance. they serve freshly made hoppers. The portions are generous, and the chicken dish is particularly outstanding. They also offer a variety of rolls and patties, all of which are delicious.
The prices are very reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the quality. Highly recommend this place!

We had the hoppers set recently. Each set comes with 4 hoppers, one of which has a sunny side egg in it. Also comes with chicken curry and potato curry. Oh my! Beyond delicious!

The food was delicious. If your in the mood for a change and some good spice, order from them. I ordered the vegetable crepe rolls. I couldn't stop eating them. They make homemade chippati and chicken currey too.They were so kind to us as well. The staff go out of their way to complete your order quickly and efficiently. The family takes so much pride and hardwork toward their restaurant. It is very clean bright and tidy inside. I had a good feeling when I walked in. They also put these really pretty flowers outside. They do catering also.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dishes on the menu. -highly reccommended the vegetable crepe rolls.

The most authentic Sri Lankan food in Vancouver served by such a kind and charming couple.We had a hopper party with our friends for a birthday and they had such a great time.We often buy their frozen curries and patties to have at home too.
