Best healthy food store and and so much more at very competitive prices

I absolutely love this shop. What would New Westminster be without the shop. So many items to choose from any small portions or behind the counter choose your own weight of whatever you wish to choose. I have to agree there is one woman that works there who is rather a piece of art, don't take her personally all the other women are really nice.

While I can’t quite break the habit of calling it Galloway’s, Goodway’s is an amazing option for hard to find ingredients at reasonable prices. Their selection of spices, flours, grains, nuts, etc is second to none, and the quality is spectacular.

Great place to get your cooking and baking ingredients. Good selection, quality and no big name company. Nice people.

A great little store crammed with food items that are sometimes difficult to find like spices, gluten free products, good chocolate. It’s a small space, a little crowded if it’s busy but it’s still manageable

Good selection, great prices. Though I was 'pulled over' by one of the ladies for using my own bag to shop rather than their basket.

"We don't put things in the bag until they're paid for," she said after I plunked a bag of beans worth 3.99 into my reusable.

So, I stopped shopping, paid, and now I'm in the market for a friendlier reception.

What exactly is going on here with this place?! The phone answers "Midway Foods" by some guy, the sign and Visa charges say "Goodway" and the other reviews are calling it "Galloways". There are websites that call themselves Galloways that are not. This storefront used to be Galloways as far as I remember but this webpage calls it "Goodway" and the reviewers call it both Goodway and Galloway. I have never in my life seen such a messed up place. What makes me even more suspicious is they have no email, will not give you a contact email, and have no FAX. If you look at their webpage and call that number they do not return voice messages either. I would avoid this place. I was a generational 50 year Galloways buyer, my father then me, starting with the Robson store. We spent thousands of dollars at "Galloways". Avoid this place. Famous Foods on Kingsway and others filled their loss of quality and respect to customer's. There are a bunch of red flags here, look at the reviews, go through them, they do not answer any of them or refute what the one-stars said. That's enough for me Natashia. This place has red flags all over it. No email, different names, no fax, different names etc etc. What is probably even worse is they have cross-contamination-flavors, when different products are stored together in a cabinet/cooler/refrigeration case counter and their scent is absorbed by another. This place is a total write-off, that is of course, if you like good food. This is where our family shopped

They have all the unusual hard to find ingredients and spices for creating that special vegan dish. I love looking at all the spices ect.that this store keeps in stock Like an old apothecary.

A hidden gem in New West, with great ingredients and quality spices, at very reasonable prices. The ladies working there give hearty advice on products too. Even after moving away, I still drive 10 km back to here to shop for nuts and chocolate chips - to make my signature shortbread cookies. Their chocolate chips Caillebaut are not too sweet and made of real cocoa 50-70%!

Rude rude rude....terrible customer service. I asked one of the ladies where the lavender flowers were, she rudely said we only have the French and pointed to where they were, I found the ones I wanted right beside the french.

They do not understand the value of customer service or common courtesy.

I called and asked the lady about a product and she was so rude. All the lady’s are not polite at all working there when I call and ask for product information. Bad customer service I will tell everyone about this not to go there anymore.

A week ago as my daughter drove by not seeing Galloway's and thought they moved or closed. I told her I'd call and find out. I received the best customer service ever and ever from a delightful woman. I asked you are in the same place as always. She said "well I was over there, now I moved over here. So I did move". Seems my daughter was incorrect. We are happy to know this.
