Stopped by Georgie’s Spot & Grill on a Tuesday night for open mic night what a great time! There was an awesome band playing, and I even got the chance to go up and perform myself. The food and drinks were solid too I had the poutine, and it really hit the spot. Always nice to support a local business that brings people together for good music and good food!

Me and my bestie came to Georgie's on a whim. We were served by the most fantastic young woman of all time. Her name is Rebecca, don't forget her. She is a star server, stunning showstopping. never let us go without anything we needed. Absolutely amazing!!!!

Let's be real, this joint is kinda old, run down and seems to be a tourist trap, with it's pretty excellent views of the New West waterfront. I didn't have high hopes going in. I skipped the booze and just opted for a cheap burger. The empty bar and seemingly bored staff wasn't exactly a good sign. But DAMN - that's when the sleeper hit. The burger turned out to be the tastiest, freshest and well priced pub/resturant burgers I've had - certainly the best one in Canada.

The staff, turned out to be not so boring either. Chill people, proud of their work.

A friend of mine and myself took our friends from Nanaimo to Georgies before going to the Mann Cup Playoff game.

Our friends absolutely loved it, and especially the view of the Mighty Fraser River from the windows over looking everything.

We only had time for a Couple quick drinks before we had to go to the game. But will definitely bring our friends from Nanaimo back to enjoy Georgies even more.

It's a pretty cool vibe inside and out server was really good as well.

The burgers here are trash. I wish I took a picture of it. They have good happy hour deals. But the burgers will give you stomach aches. Do not get the burgers trust me. They are $20 and taste like cheap burgers made from frozen patties for$2. They were awful!
