A cozy local gem with hearty food and a welcoming vibe

We visited Gino's Restaurant as a family, and every dish brought comfort and joy to the table. We ordered a mix of favourites-crispy calamari, grilled chicken, prawns, fish and chips, and their loaded Meat Lover pizza, which was overflowing with flavour. Packed with generous portions of meat, cheese, and a perfect crust, the pizza stole the show for us!

The fish and chips were golden and flaky, the prawns buttery and fresh, and the grilled chicken came with just the right seasoning. We finished the meal with a green dessert that my daughters absolutely loved-light, sweet, and refreshing.

The setting is casual and friendly, with a nostalgic charm you don't see much anymore. The service was kind, though bit slow, but that gave us time to enjoy being together.

Gino's is a reminder of how dining used to feel-personal, filling, and heartfelt. A great spot in New Westminster for a relaxed, family-style meal.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long to be seated or to receive our meals. It was a large portion of food that was okay. The lamb was good, the calamari could have been fried a little longer and the moussaka wasn't the best tasting dish. The service was decent.

We used Gino’s a lot for our school events and for our summer annual lunch this year. Everyone loved the food option made especially for our office. Will definitely recommend

Felt like going back in time as Gino's has kept that old charm from years gone by. Service was friendly and exceptional. We ate early, arriving just after they opened in a Saturday. Son had Moussaka, and I had the Prime Rib Special. Both were good, but would go with the Moussaka next time. Had to try both the balsamic reduction and their home made Italian salad dressing, both were fantastic. Too far to go regularly, but would go if in the area.

We love going to this place. It’s family friendly and the staff is very helpful and courteous. If you want a place to go for old fashioned comfort food with generous portions, check this place out.

I have ordered from this restaurant since 1988. The amount of food for 50.00 dollars delivered to me today ,resembles a third world nation. They obviously are set on taking folks back to school to learn a lesson. Food is brilliant but price is three fold robbery, for what your receive. My thoughts to those who do not support thieving is, stay away.

Joined my girlfriend and her grandmother for dinner. The service was quite friendly and timely. The food was great and even though there were quite a few tables seated it was quiet

I heard good things from a friend but wasn't expecting dawn of the dead. I wasn't impressed, no love in the food despite the expedited service.. Staff weren't really fun or friendly which is Vancouver standard (chatting at the bar the whole time). Its a great place if you're a boomer and just waiting to pass the time until you venture on into the afterlife. I would recommend the bar just down the street instead. Much more lively.

Food was great as usual but cannot get past all the fruit flies! A couple of them landed in my husbands wine & my daughters dinner. We will not be back until this is under control.
