I ordered online, they took my $52.. no confirmation, I tried calling the phone number to see if they received my order ...phone number not in service. Order status said pending for 30 minutes. I walked over there and they are closed.... now I have to do a charge back on my card because they took my money???? worse thing is: my employer generously offered to buy me lunch on his card and now my boss needs to manage a charge back :) awesome.... so thanks Hi Dozo! 5 years ago I wrote you a 5 star review but I have now deleted it. Very dissapointed.

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times before, and my previous experiences were positive, which is why this situation was especially disappointing. Before preparing my order, the restaurant contacted me to confirm a substitution only for the salmon & tuna combo due to tuna being unavailable, which I approved. No changes to the California Roll Combo were discussed or approved. According to the menu, the California Roll Combo includes specific items (California roll, two salmon, two tuna, one ebi, and one Tai nigiri sushi). However, the items I received were completely different from what was advertised. This order was meant for a special evening, and unfortunately the incorrect order significantly affected the experience. It has already been a night since this happened, and I am still feeling disappointed by how it was handled. I understand that ingredient shortages can happen, but changes to a specific combo should be clearly communicated and approved in advance. I hope the restaurant addresses this issue and improves communication going forward.

Seemingly nice restaurant... Until you see the exterior. Absolute rats nest right behind the restaurant, right next to the back door. Can't imagine they WOULDN'T be absolutely infested when this is how they leave their property.
Had a smoke while waiting for order and saw this, immediately cancelled our order and we left.

Terrible restaurant. I was told that they had no gyoza, no shrimp I ended up with miso soup and a sunomono salad that was unedible. Absolutely horrible food. Never going back. Avoid.

Everytime my girlfriend and I have been to this restaurant, it is mostly somewhat empty. However, this is one of the most consistently delicious sushi with an extremely fair price.

UNDER RATED! My favourite sushi place in new west, if you’re looking for affordable healthy food (or not so healthy) look no further. Their house salad is the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life. The staff are very nice, it’s incredibly affordable, it’s real cute too. But the fooodddddd omggggggg I can go there and fill up on sushi for like 10 bucks? Depending on how fancy I go. There’s an awesome variety. I literally don’t eat raw fish and I’m a pretty picky eater. But literally every time I go I find something new I like and I’ve been there so many times. It’s also so chill in there because not enough people come, so you have space and don’t feel rushed. Sometimes I just draw there and eat sushi for like hours.

Walked 45 minutes to come here only to find it closed when, according to the hours published, they should be open.
This place only survives off its history of how it was pre Covid. Every time I go now it’s closed, randomly cancels online orders and doesn’t have anything beyond tea offered in the restaurant. The quality has fallen off a cliff and there are far better sushi places around that run circles around a once great sushi place. Highly avoid

I love this restaurant! I’ve been a regular since I was 13 and spent so many hours here with my friends, still craving their bento boxes ten years later :) I really miss the place since I don’t live there anymore, but it’s a must visit every time I go back. Also the prices have stayed super reasonable through the years!

I have no idea why anyone would give this place more than 1 star! We have been here twice and will NEVER recommend anyone to visit. Not only was my takeout not ready when I went to pick it up, but I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for it. And what a disappointment when we opened the containers! The rice did not stick and fell apart when you picked it up. The sashimi pieces were sliced as thin and small as they could get away with. Even Kojima Sushi has better portions than this place. Prices are inflated and portion sizes small. If you want value for you money, avoid this place!

The restaurant was very empty around 8pm weekdays so I was a bit cautious when I walked in. However, they're better than our expectations, especially at a very affordable pricing. We shared a couple dishes and I would recommend their tempura udon on a cold night, hearty & clean flavour. Their tempura batter was very thin & crispy, tempura weren't oily at all. The salmon & avocado roll was simply good. Tbh, I don't like the beef teriyaki due to sweet marinate but each of their own. Our waitress was very nice and efficient, and the restaurant looked clean.
