had an amazing experience at Kabayan Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy and Instagrammable — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a good drink.

Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.

They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕

The staff are friendly, warm, and always greet you with a smile. Whether you're Filipino or not, Kabayan Cafe makes everyone feel welcome.

Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area! 🙌

This bubble tea place has great customer service, and their drinks are amazing! I especially love the brown sugar latte — it tastes so good.

I stopped by Kabayan Cafe yesterday and was really impressed! Avocado smoothie with pearls and it was one of the best I’ve had—perfectly sweet, creamy, and the tapioca pearls were soft and chewy. I also tried the Korean-style chicken bao, and it was super tasty and fresh.

The staff were friendly and patient while I decided what to order, and the vibe inside was cozy with cute decor and lots of natural light. It’s a great place to chill or catch up with friends.

Only thing is it can get a bit busy during the afternoon, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend for any bubble tea lovers!

Great customer service, and a completely underrated spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. Although a fairly new establishment, the company strives to improve and grow, while also offering quality products and service. I suggest you check them out whenever you’re near the area.

Cute little cafe with great drinks and decently priced items. Also has Filipino pastries. Friendly staff!

Order from here on Uber Eats. Bubble waffle had a bad aftertaste. It was not airy and bouncy texture like I'd had before at any other HK style cafe. It was not worth the money even if it was BOGO,honestly the batter needs a lot of improvement. I hope this can be information for everyone who is considering buying and also if manager see this, might take this as advice to adjust batter ingredients for bubble waffle or whatever waffle with that batter. Thanks for reading it and taking steps to make it better for customers.

I tried their custard (leche flan)...and it was just so smooth and creamy, brought back a lot of childhood Christmas memories,as it's my favorite dessert. I can't wait to try their bubble tea and other sweet treats that this quaint yet homey cafè offers. Thank you Kabayan Cafè 🥰😇

Bibingka and coffee perfect for a cold morning ❤️ person in charge is really nice. Hoping they’d have more kakanin or maybe some savory options in the future if possible. But i love the clean, quiet, cozy interiors. Will be coming back to try the bubble tea and waffles soon!

Went and tried bubble waffle and avocado smoothie. Smoothie was great. Bubble waffle could be crispier with less batter and longer cooking

Tried their avocado smoothie and mango slush today. I have to say they did not disappoint! It was just the right of sweetness on both drinks and you can definitely feel the love and care the lady was putting in towards making our drinks. Thank you!

The relaunch as Kabayan Cafe brought a fresh makeover with bubble tea and bubble waffles. With the new name, I was lucky enough to try the Mocha bubble tea and the Mango slush, both with boba. Both were excellent and had a good portion for $6.50 each. As the name suggests, this is a Filipino take on a Bubble tea cafe. On the menu you'll find Filipino classics like Halo Halo and Mais Con-yelo. Constructive criticism, I feel like an opportunity missed was to have an Ube smoothie or slush. But overall a decent menu selection.

It was so good that I am planning to return to try the Bubble waffle.

Parking: 7-11 parking an option, but they may tow.
