I loved everything I tried here—super delicious, high-quality, and really fresh, all made to order. I also really appreciated that the server let us know about the spiciness level of certain dishes, since I can’t have spicy food for health reasons. One good tip is to order an item that mentions jalapeño on the East African menu and just ask them to leave out the jalapeño. Highly recommend this spot :)

Massawa restaurant has accommodated our big family with children for a dinner. The food was really good especially the Tibs. The waitress was amazing, welcoming, and very proportional. According to our group of coffee lovers, the coffee they had had the best taste with a hint of ginger. Our gratitude goes out to the waitress for the amazing service she provided us and for taking care of the other customers in the restaurant even though she was the only one there.
Delicious food! The fried bread is delicious. Awesome to have Eritrean cuisine to try. Hopefully they can get a green jersey on the wall soon!

I have no other ethiopian restaurant to compare this too, but portion for price is so wonderful. Although the food wasn't extra special, it tasted fresh and hearty, and price is great, so I give it 5 stars. Service is good! Cute little atmosphere there too.
