I realize this isn’t the typical donair spot for everyone, especially with so many new places opening up around New Westminster. (I do plan to try those and share reviews in the future.)

I happened to be in town, and visiting here felt a bit nostalgic. The owner has known me since my days at New West Secondary, over 20 years ago.

Over the years I’ve lived in many cities, but I still haven’t found a donair place that matches the bold, flavorful sauces here. His spicy sauce and tahini stand out—unlike the watered-down, flavorless versions I’ve come across elsewhere. The meat is also well-marinated, which is something many shops seem to skip, likely to cut costs.

What’s even more impressive is that he remembered me, despite not having visited for 2–3 years.

For context, in Victoria a lamb or beef donair can cost around $18.50, and it’s rare to find lamb for under $15. Here, you get incredible value without compromising on taste.

If you enjoy a strong tahini (sesame paste) flavor, spicy sauce that isn’t Sriracha-based, homemade hummus (not store-bought), and well-marinated, flavorful meat at a reasonable price, this place is absolutely worth a visit. The veggie options may be a bit limited, but the quality of the donair more than makes up for it. His donair is never dry for meat eaters!
It’s more of a grab and go place with only one table in the front but his donair never disappoint me.

My husband ordered for me a LARGE falafel donair with everything except hot sauce plus extra feta. All I got was (about) 3 falafels and a mountain of lettuce in a thin wrap. This picture shows the bottom of the donair as dry and plain as the beginning. No tabule, no hummus, no tahini, no tomatoes, no cucumber. I saw a little sauce (tzatziki or garlic) together with the little feta in the middle. I wonder: how much falafel do you put in the smaller size? One?! Besides, vegetarians like tasteful food like everyone else, baby; not plain lettuce. Put veggies and sauce on it!!

2025-The food is so good I must eat there at least once a week. He is one of the friendliest food service owners I've ever met and he always makes my visits, and everyone's enjoyable. I can't believe there are a few detractors here writing bad reviews. They must be miserable people who criticize everyone.
2021-Friendly man who owns it with terrific food. You can ask for a Whole Wheat Wrap but he doesn't always have them so phone ahead. Wear a mask!

It's a one man show. Friendly and kind man. Got the chicken plate and its not your typical donair joint. flavorful, fresh and full of different spices. Come here if you want quality food without breaking the bank. Uses real olive oil in the salad.
