Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen - New West

We held a company dinner here for 70 people and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The patio is super cute but we had a lot of Oilers fans and the pub accommodated with the game on every screen. We all arrived at once and they were hustling to get everyone a drink and that service level was maintained for the evening with everyone satisfied. We had a buffet of standard pub food (keep your expectations as such and you'll be happy) and the pulled pork sliders were the highlight. They even brought some of the platters around to the tables which was much appreciated! James and his team did an amazing job keeping our team hydrated and fed!

Stumbled upon this pub after a kids lacrosse game at a nearby arena. Was really good food and beer!! Kid friendly for the young ones and they loved the juke box machine to choose their own tunes. Friendly staff. Good quantity and quality for food and Bev!

We had the smash burger and onion rings, and a couple pints and paid less than $40. That is a steal and everything tasted great. Our server was super friendly and the Howe Sound beer tastes just as good as it does in Squamish!

Great food and service. Been here many times and never had a bad experience. Highly recommend.

Had an awesome visit. The wings were fresh and delicious, it was a nice welcoming atmosphere but Tracy as our server was tremendous. So attentive, and so engaging. I cross my fingers I get her as a bartender/server next time I come in!

We had a great experience at this location. Our server was absolutely amazing and I wish I could find my receipt that showed her name. She was very informative on all of our food and drink selections.
We had the pizza selection, the table was full of pizza and it was the best choice. Wildfire and great crust with a good amount of toppings. You could easily share the pizza with a friend or eat it yourself. We did decide to have dessert as it was house made and not brought in by bulk. Cheese cake, wow! Simply devine. I'm allergic to the topping it came with and the chef was kind enough to make me a topping I could eat, that's above and beyond service. I highly recommend the pizza and cheese cake.
Great selection of beer, there is something for all tastes. Pop and cocktails available along with mocktails.
It has a really comfortable atmosphere but very Bar like. there is a patio but we arrived in a rain filled night so had to sit inside. It's clean and inviting.
Great location in new Westminster, if you're taking the SkyTrain it's right next to a station, Columbia I believe. If you're driving there is some parking out front. If not there is public pay parking a few blocks away.
