Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen - New West

We love this little spot! The cheddar ale soup is incredible, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the servers are attentive and friendly. It's in such a convenient spot and makes it so easy to just stop in and have something delicious to eat.

bar staff , whom was on duty on Sunday 15/02/26 afternoon. Short heights, medium age person was unexpectedly rude and wasn't provide us any service and totally ignoring behavior. Did served other customers came after us . Sorry to say , It was unexpected service ever received

Booked for a friend gathering for 14 but was only given seats for 12 people. Upon checking in they also said it was for 14 people. We later told our waiter which was a man about the situation but it was just quickly brushed off.

Not my first time here but just a shame that they didn’t even try to deal with the situation and just let us suck it up :(. Had people sharing one chair the entire night.

Would def not book again here for big parties I just wished they were more honest.

If ever I’d ask for Tracy as your server. Been here multiple times and has always been a blast but if you’re stuck with the server we had I’d avoid it.

Gentleman serving us on January 2nd, Pablo (?) was very personable and knowledgeable.

Outdoor area (not their fault) was sketchy, but brews were cold, the “Dirty Fries” were delicious (and would order again) and the conversation with Pablo (?) was exactly what was needed to feel comfortable. That man needs a raise or a bonus well done!

Saying our server was top notch is an under statement! I guess the English do it better! He was engaging, humorous and efficient. We had the smash burger and the dirty fries. They were delicious. Our caesars were excellent and the beer was ice cold..(p.s. beers were presented label facing us which i havent seen in a long time) kudos Andrew for your stellar service and attention to detail. Cheers!

I just got back into the Howie sound a couple weeks ago! James, the general manager is awesome! Today I invited 10 of my friends there for a small Christmas get together, I was blown away when I got there that James the general manager had set up our seats and everything for us and was amazing, everyone loved their food. my new regular spot!

Had an amazing experience at Howe Sound New West! I ordered a burger and a pizza; both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was perfectly made, and the burger was out of this world, hands down one of the best I’ve ever had.

I even asked to meet the chef to personally congratulate her for such incredible food. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Totally loved the food and the overall vibe of this place. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great flavors and friendly service!
