I’ve been here twice now and both times were a great experience with great food! Last time we had Jackie and today we had Tracey and both were fantastic servers!

Howe Sound is in the same building as The Met Hotel but you need to walk outside and about 20 feet to the entrance. James the manager was there when I was there and he is great. I went for their lunch special, $20 for a Burger and a Beer. The smash burger I got and it was pretty good but I should have went with the other burger James suggested LOL. This place has the feel of a really fun place. I will definitely go here again when I am in town staying at The Met.

A fun local pub with premuim quality menu items. Austin, who seems to run the place, is really cool, as are all the staff here. This is a good crew, they'll take care of you. Multiple great places to sit: indoors if you like the entertainment, and out-back if you want a quieter place to gather. Good service from bar to patio. My friends and I will come back to New West again for this place.

The food was pretty good but very poor service. We had to ask multiple times for napkins and water. We ordered wings and burgers and didn't receive napkins. Prices were to expensive for what It was. I would not recommend this place but it definitely has potential to get better. I'll revisit again one day and update the review.

Decent beer. Our server was lovely. Their patio at the back is quite nice.we had a couple flights. Nothing was like wow. But it did the trick

Our show was canceled nearby so we ended up here for dinner. I believe our severs name was Jamie and he was great!!! The good was great as well. It was a little warm because the AC was broken, but everything else made up for that and we will definitely be back.

Ill avoid this place at all cost was waiting at the bar for 15 minutes, bartender didn't even asked me if i wanted a beer or anything, shitty service, much better places around the block

Great staff always friendly but not as talkative at times. Seems like the positive energy shifts up and down from the staff most likely from management issues. I have waited for my bill more than one time. Top notch food though a little to pricey. Best craft beer taphouse in town. Howesound beer is exceptional. Probably my favourite craft beer out there. Lots of tv screens for your sports games. People who are regulars are nice folks besides the rude few that show up time to time regulars from the Hops bar at the New Westminster station. It's a positive place mostly really old awesome bar and very old building. Really cool. The best older building that houses a taphouse neighbourhood pub in town. Probably one of the best in the lower mainland and Vancouver. Everytime I walk in the place I have a good feeling im glad they got rid of the older women manager she was not right for the place a very negative person. That pub could be the best place around if they make some changes have live music and parties for the bigger sports events they have room they have the beer, the nostalgia. They could add another floor really cool place. Jackie and Tracy are awesome waitresses.

Great beer selection and the food is pretty good. Thursday night trivia is a blast. Highly recommend sitting in Jackie’s section as she is amazing!

We held a company dinner here for 70 people and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The patio is super cute but we had a lot of Oilers fans and the pub accommodated with the game on every screen. We all arrived at once and they were hustling to get everyone a drink and that service level was maintained for the evening with everyone satisfied. We had a buffet of standard pub food (keep your expectations as such and you'll be happy) and the pulled pork sliders were the highlight. They even brought some of the platters around to the tables which was much appreciated! James and his team did an amazing job keeping our team hydrated and fed!
