Delicious grilled Chez! Does not taste like cheese, tastes better, more out of this world. I cannot emphasize how revolutionary this umami bomb is. Pairing with the pickle is genius, bread is great too. Photo's worth a thousand words and it looks sub par here but the flavour is something beyond that.
Not to mention the wonderful atmosphere and a store that actually cares about the community, prices are usual cafe prices but more than worth it for the cool ingredients, good stuff!

I’ve been coming here since the days it was Old Crow, and it’s still one of my favourite spots. The staff are always welcoming, the coffee is excellent, and the food never disappoints. I love the quirks and character of the cafe, it has such a unique vibe. Even though we live in Burnaby, we happily make the trip out just to enjoy it here. Always worth it!

I’m working my way through the menu and have enjoyed everything so far!

The staff are wonderful, and the space is great for catching up with friends or being by yourself. They also host special events such as DJ nights which elevate the mood. I look forward to the next time I stop by!

Best coffee. Best people. Best food.
MATCHA MANGO IS A MUST TRY! Also London Fog, or mocha (they make the chocolate syrup in house) or matcha latte👌👌👌

This is such a gem of New West, and would feel at home in East Van, London, or Melbourne. Great coffee (thanks for the decaf) and excellent vegan croissants. I’m a big fan! Thanks 🙏🏻

My first time trying and fell in love with their coffee on the first sip! We Elgar iced Americano - bold yet silky smooth. Also indulged in the seasonable special - mango matcha was awesome! Creamy and refreshing! Highly recommended. Their pistachio latte (ice) was nutty and thick with flavour, not overly sweet but indulgent and I can’t wait to go back soon!

My partner and I were on a little weekend trip and decided to stop by here for our morning sips. The iced americano and peach apricot iced tea (which might just be a seasonal drink) were delicious, and the butter croissant was to die for. Great vibes, friendly staff, and there was even a little vintage rack and bookshop area to browse! Love love love :)

☕✨ Five-Star Review for a True Neighborhood Gem ✨☕

Walking into this coffee shop feels like stepping into a warm hug—one brewed with love, inclusivity, and a sprinkle of magic. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with smiles that aren’t just polite—they’re genuinely welcoming. The staff are beautifully authentic, always down for a chat, and remember your name and your favorite drink like you’re part of the family.

🌈 Queer-friendly and proud, this space radiates openness and acceptance. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a refuge, a meeting place, a heartbeat in the local community. Whether you’re unwinding with friends, getting work done over espresso, or joining one of their pop-up events, you feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

This place doesn’t just serve great coffee—it serves connection. It’s where neighbors become friends and causes find support. The shop actively uplifts local artists, organizers, and LGBTQIA+ voices, constantly finding new ways to give back.

🪴 The cozy cool aesthetic, the locally sourced treats, the eclectic artworks—they all speak to the heart behind the business. It’s not curated for clout; it’s cultivated for care. An absolute asset to the neighborhood and a brilliant example of what a community-first coffee shop can be.

If you haven’t visited yet—go. It’s more than just your next caffeine fix. It’s where kindness is brewed daily. ☕💖

Nice space but disappointing service.
I ordered a coffee and didn’t grab it right away because it was called out by the wrong title when placed on the counter. When I checked on it 5-10 min later, the barista gave me attitude and insisted they called it by the right order name and that I was wrong. A shame, because the space is cute and I love to support local but wont be coming back.
