Pho 99 New Westminster

We were looking for a place for a late dinner with a friend visiting Vancouver and arriving late (after 9:30 pm). This restaurant was close to where she stayed and still opened and accepted orders until that late. There were not many options, so we took a leap of faith to come here.

Perhaps, we came with no expectations, it turned out to be great satisfaction. Meats was so tender, juicy and tasty. We were also very hungry since we did not have anything to eat after lunch, so we were very happy with their great portion. We ordered some drinks as well, and they were good too.

We would come back even if it was not that late.

We ordered a bowl of soup noodles and a bowl of dry noodles. I liked the soup noodles’ broth, which had a lot of onions and radish, but the beef was very dry and not very tasty. The sauce for the dry noodles was insufficient, making the whole bowl rather bland. However, the spring rolls and the chicken chop tasted good. Overall, the food was acceptable.
That said, the restaurant’s cleanliness was not very good, the floor was slippery, and the seats had a lot of dust and leftover food

clean, good service, not overly greasy bbh broth and an abundance of thick vermicelli noodles. Reasonable prices compared to other places.

Excellent service and a good Pho base for their soup. Their spring rolls also appear to be house made instead of off the shelf.

I am visiting this place regularly. But today, when my husband tried to make a payment, the server hit 15% tip button. As I know, the tip isn't mandatory as well as the percentage of tips is on me, not on the server. I won't come back here anymore. It's not much, but the server has no right to choose from it.

Went here for the first and last time. While the food is decent, it is bland. There was absolutely no service. Also, they gave every other table tea but we got room temperature water on a cold day.

I recently visited Pho 99 in New Westminster, and I was thoroughly impressed by the meal! The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the tender cuts of well-done flank and the melt-in-your-mouth fatty brisket. Each bite of the soup was a delightful experience, with just the right balance of seasoning and depth. The noodles were fresh and cooked to perfection, making every slurp satisfying.

For dessert, I had the red bean dessert, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. The sweetness was subtle, with a smooth, comforting texture that paired beautifully with the lightness of the dish. It’s clear that Pho 99 takes great care in crafting their dishes, from the savory pho to the sweet finish. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic, delicious Vietnamese cuisine!

Food was great, staff were really nice. I went at 11 AM when they opened and the atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. They had great music (Studio Ghibli theme songs). I had the fried wonton and steak pho, as well as bbq pork banh mi. I got 4 meals out of it so I’d say it was worth the price. Will definitely be back. Thank you :)

It is an awsome place to chill out and enjoy food!

This is my favourite pho place and I especially love the spicy broth option. Except that just now I opened my pick-up order and it wasn't the spicy broth I paid for 😢
