I was so excited to bring my out town friend to this place after I had such a great time the last time I was here, but today was so disappointing. For positives: the food was really good, great game selection, & everyone around us seemed like they were enjoying themselves. As for the negatives: our server tonight had a horrible attitude & frankly was just straight up rude. I can totally understand if you are having an off day (especially our table as we all used to work at a gameboard cafe/other service industry jobs where you have to push through your shift), but this was unlike any service I've ever had. She first off never greeted us and then rushed through our order and literally snatched both menus out of my friend's hands mid order. She kept her distance for a good chunk of time we were there. And to top it off, when we mentioned we are going to keep our tab open with plans to order more later, she threw the receipt in front of us exactly 13minutes later with an hr and a half still left until close. We felt so pressured and rushed through everything that we couldn't even relax the whole time we were there and that is so If there was an issue or if her shift was ending, it would have been nice to have some transparency to help her out. Sorry Ludica....

The food was great, the board game selection is awesome, but I truthfully have never had such poor service. Our server took the menus out of my hands while I was reading off my order (both the drink and food menu) and food was removed from our table that we were still eating. We felt extremely rushed, even though closing time wasn't for another hour and a half and there were several other tables still there and more coming in. We told our server that we were still hanging out for a while and intended to order more but had the bill brought to us immediately. I can understand having a bad day but we were shocked by how unwelcome we were made to feel.

Food: was decent! we had caesar salad and italian sausage pizza. everything needed more seasoning in my opinion Games: really great selection, nice large tables to play on. some games were missing pieces which was a little disappointing Service: really great!! Atmosphere: it was a little hot in there (note the fans in the photo) and it got loud at around 5:30. if you prefer a quiet environment then go for early dinner at 4:00 when they open :)
I went to ludica pizzeria with friends and liked the menu: they have a good variety of vegan options and it’s all in a separate part of it, which makes easier to find what you’re looking for.

Lovely place not far away for SkyTrain station or bus stop. Easy access location. Clean and friendly space. Variety tables for different numbers in the group seats. The price and quality balance is good, I can recommend. Good choice of vegan/vegetarian options. Coffee is regular, but huge size. I would like to come again. P.s.: the main specific of the place - board games. I'm not a big fun, but if you are - please, take a seat)

Warm beer and cold pizza…. I sent my under cooked pizza back for a 25% discount. Not worth the risk.
