Little hard to hear
The Sapperton District Taphouse feels like a second home. The welcoming vibe, attentive staff, and excellent beverage lineup make it a go-to for any occasion. It’s exactly what a neighborhood hangout should be. Very supportive of the community.
Great place to be with friends and family. I had worked in hospitality for many years and what makes this place a real standout is the service. Ivanka is amazing. She really is a pro and a joy to be served by. Very professional and personable.
Great food and atmosphere. Extremely poor service. Table isn’t cleared timely. Order was taken after waiting for 20 mins. She made us feel like we are inconvenience for her. She told other table pointing at us not sure what but that was quite obvious.
Visited Saturday May 31, afternoon for the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL game.
Bar has 4 tables occupied so I know it’s not because they are packed and overwhelmed.
I had egg benny. The worst I ever had potatoes over cooked, muffin stale,no back bacon cheap thin 2 strips of bacon, milk served for coffee was off
Moved the lower mainland and New Westminster about a year ago and tonight was the third time I have been to District. The pub is awesome! The feel is local, comfortable and welcoming. You can tell there are regulars and less frequent visitors but everyone is having a good time. They play the game (whichever the most important game is at the time) on a dozen good sized televisions and a projector so no one misses out on the action and the place lights up when there's a goal or big hit. Syed, who I believe is the manager, has been there for each of my visits and this guys is an all-star! He is clearly passionate about each customers experience with an infectious enthusiasm and positivity. This place is exactly what it is meant to be as a local sports pub but the service far exceeds the expectation. Highly recommend!
Was decent pub food and very friendly service
If it wasn't for the company we were with the whole experience wasn't memorable at all.
What a great place that still has community events!
Nice pub, good service, drinks & food. I will definitely return in the near future.

We went here yesterday after having a very nice meal at ginos. I ordered a double Rum in a short glass....yes I was trying to get a buzz. Haha. But when it came, it tasted like water. I had 3 other friends sip it, and they all had the same reaction. So I went up to the bartender and asked about it, he shrugged his shoulders and pretty much said it's not his problem. Aa a server/bartender myself, I would NEVER treat a customer like this. Lesson learned.....I'll never be back, and that's sad cuz there are not many pubs left in nw.
Eat at your own peril as the food was horrible. My wifes burger was excessively greasy, and my butter chicken instantly turned my stomach contents over. Food was flavorless. Burnt out TVs, local drunks staring at people that were eating. I genuinely pity the server. She was nice and had no support. Now I know why this place was empty when I've walled by the last few times.

This is our local and have been here a 1000x. I love the new drink menu with all the old timey ? cocktails. Drinks were great! And I think food quality has improved. The only downside to the experience was the unengaged service. Perhaps it was due to lack of experience but the server seemed bored, inattentive. Just plopped our food down and left without asking if we needed anything else. When asked about items on the menu, we were met with a disinterested "I don't know". Had to flag her down in the end and this shouldn't have to happen as your food sits getting cold. Lack of stars directly related to service alone.
They also do private parties!
We had a cocktail and a quick bite. Nachos were perfectly layered with lots of cheese. Beef dip and Cajun Chicken sandwich were good too.
Try the Paloma and the Espresso

I went there with my friends around 9:30 pm. Bar only had 3 other patrons besides.
The on tap beer was not cold, I mean this is a bar and the last thing I needed was not cold beer.
Secondly our food took forever, we checked 3 times with the server to check on our food.
It was not a good experience at all.
I had friends visiting from calgary and they were like I hope there were other bats closed by at that hour who would at least serve cold beer.
