I've been a semi-regular Sbux customer for decades; long enough to remember when customer service was a big deal to them. My visit to this location today strongly suggested it doesn't matter any more.I had just over 150 stars on their loyalty program. I ordered an iced coffee that cost $3.95 and a cookie that cost $3.45, and I was very clear to the barista that I wanted to redeem 100 stars for the coffee.After I finished my coffee, I checked my app and saw that the stars had been used for the cookie. It's only 50 cents (+ tax), but I still went to the counter to get it fixed.A few years ago, a manager would have refunded the difference in price to my card and handed me a voucher for a free drink for good measure, but I just wanted a correction to the error. Not today though.First, I was told their system automatically applies redeemed stars to the highest value item even while they were looking at the transaction on my phone.When I pointed out that didn't happen, I was then told that online orders can't be fixed in the store and I would have to phone customer service.When I repeated that it was an in store purchase, not online, I was told they still couldn't fix it and I'd still have to call customer service to get the store's mistake fixed.I don't know what the wait times are like for Sbux' customer service line but for $0.53 I'm not going to bother finding out. I'll just assume that it's longer than it took me to write a 1 star review and I'll go to one of the other umpteen coffee shops in this neighborhood in the future.

I have had a couple negative experiences here in the past, however I decided to revisit today and had a much different experience. Yota made my drink perfectly and the cashier was so helpful when my app was giving me problems.

To say that I was impressed with my visit to this particular coffee shop, is to say water is wet or fire burns.The service, was as expected, disrupted by the gentlemen at the table behind me, offering to take me out to Deep Cove and dispose of me.I can give the staff a break on getting my order wrong. They got it right the second time.As I currently measure my enjoyment of a visit to the local community, by the overt hatred I recieved from it, I'll give this visit a five star review.

Let me brag about the fantastic customer service I get at the store every time I visit. Most of the time my app does not work correctly, and everyone takes the time and patience to help me with it. Let’s not forget the fantastic manager that leads that team. I also work in Customer Service and respect when I get exceptional service why I had to leave a review. I go out of my way just to visit this Starbucks for the customer service thank you Angela for always going above and beyond for me.

I used to drink Grande Cappuccino at this location almost everyday, but during Covid I experienced some very unfriendly behaviors from the some of the staff that unfortunately made me stop going there. Each time I walk by this store I feel re-traumatized, so I avoid going there.

I made my order, and they repeated back to me but typed something completely different into the computer, and when i got it, they acted really annoyed with me. Charged me for vanilla shots when I just wanted a regular coffee and a vanilla scone wouldn't refund the difference and were really rude about it.
