I have tried different sushi places in Uptown New West and several places downtown New West (mostly close to NW skytrain station, 5 restaurants..). I have discovered Yen Sushi when I moved to the area last year and I can honestly say this is the best sushi place in New Westminster! Excellent quality, tasty and affordable.I would highly recommend them. Stop by, you will not regret it.

absolutely delicious!! and so affordable! i got the kabocha korokke curry and it was amazing! truly some of the best korokke i’ve ever had. kind and polite staff and a wonderful atmosphere, too ♡Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian options, from sushi, to curry, to teriyaki!

This is no doubt one of the best Sushi restaurant I've been to!!!!Amazin food, prices are so affordable and even the interior and atmosphere is greatThe staff is also niceThe bento was amazingAnd the mochi green tea ice cream was the best!!!!Wouldnt mind being a regular customer!!!!Thank you!

It's small, but cozy, and clean. The service was prompt. The food was great, and came to the table quickly.The menu was smaller than most places I've been to, with less items to choose from, but the quality of the food I had was high. I do wish there was a tad more selection. However, with it being a smaller space, they likely had to minimize for stock/storage.Street pay parking is available, and if you're willing to walk a short while, you can find free spots as well.Vegetarian options: There's some of the usual items you'll find in most places. Cucumber rolls, and salads. Definitely a meals worth of food if you don't eat fish.

The sushi rolls are not good. They are rolled poorly and falling apart. The rice barely have any vinegar flavour. Ingredients they use in the rolls is subpar. The chicken roll taste like microwave chicken with barely any sauce. Never ordering food from here again.
The food was made quick but not rushed and was very delicious even by the time I made it home it was still good

Definitely coming back! All the food we ordered tastes great and we can’t believe how inexpensive the bill is afterwards. Great value for money for sure!

Very small dining space, but we were able to get a seat inside. Gentleman took our order and prepared our meals with precision and speed.It's not a place that you're going to get A+ Service, but you'll get good value and great tasting sushi. I ordered a California and Beef Roll with Beef Udon Noodles all for around $20.Will come back again!

tucked away on a horrible climb into the unknown, Sushi Yen is a lovely bastion of soft music and delicious smells. the staff is friendly and welcoming, the decor is lovely, and the food itself is a wonderful answer to the afternoon hungers that drag at the stomach. the agedashi tofu here is perhaps the best i have ever had the pleasure to consume in my considerably average-length life.
