Had a fabulous time here. Spud shack is nestled conveniently by new Westminster skytrain station and the movie theatre. I discovered my new favorite burger: the Hawaiian, it was ridiculously delicious.
They have over 10 different poutines and each one is so unique and artfully crafted. The night market poutine was a highlight for me.
Amazing value for money! I got a medium poutine for 16 bucks thanks to the Monday deals!! And it was delicious
Food was amazing. Flavours were very nicely balanced. And options are great. Will definitely come back. Portions are good as well for the price.
I got the poutine. It was really good, the fries were crispy. But the gravy was way too salty, you start feeling bad halfway through from how salty it was.
Would not recommend, these guys have gone downhill over the last few months! I absolutely loved this place and used to come very frequently but after my last visit I will not be back. The older man was quite rude at the front and it is absolutely ridiculous that they charge a fee for a box to go when you are already paying high prices for the food.. I can understand charging for a bag but charging for the box it comes in is unheard of when you are already paying for the food it should be included, what am I supposed to do take it out with my hands…that’s like McDonald’s charging you for packaging of their chicken nugget boxes and burger boxes. Lost a customer with your attitude and prices today.
If you’re eating by yourself, a portion of medium poutine is enough. Nonetheless, the shredded pork (called the Squealer) poutine was pretty filling and delicious. Would come back again and try their other flavours.
What a shame, so nice and delicious fries but covered with tons of salt....... too bad......
Excellent food, you can tell everything's made by hand and from scratch. Service is always very polite and quick. The poutine deal every Monday makes it a no-brainer.
Good poutine with huge portion and price for the portion is just alright. Overall a great and clean experience 👌
food was great, really depends what you get. would most def go back to try new poutines. we got the original which tasted like normal and we got the cowboy which tasted amazing, great portion sizes.

2025 edit: Please get a hold of the fruit flies problem. Every 30 seconds we were swatting them away at our recent visit, and couldn't enjoy the food or dine-in experience without fear of flies ending up in the food.
2022: Big poutine portions, they served quickly and provided good quality. 10 out of 10
I drive and don’t take any public transportation. This place is located at a sky train station. I stumbled upon it as I was exploring the area on foot. I’m so happy I discovered this place. Definitely one of the best French fries I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten frites (OG of fries) in Brussels Belgium. This place is the real deal👍👍👍
Burger and fries tasted fresh
They give you a ton of fries for regular which is nice
I got a gluten free bun which tasted pretty good compared to other gluten free buns out there
And they seemed pretty chill
Amazing selection of poutines, and friendly servers that will remember your name on future visits!
It's got spuds
