My favourite German restaurant in the lower mainland! Chronically underrated! It’s like being in a German home getting served the best of the best. Affordable for the quality, I cannot recommend it enough!

We just had lunch here yesterday and had a great time. The owner is a very gracious host and her culinary training is evident. Having been raised on German cuisine, my bar is a little higher than normal and Tannenbaum did not disappoint. My wife who is Portuguese/Asian cooks many of these dishes better than many Germans I know and she was impressed! Among us, we had the Wiener Schnitzel of course, the Jaeger Pfanne and the Schnitzel sandwich. They were all great. And the Apfel...

Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The food was fantastic and the service was extremely welcoming. We were a group of 7 and even though it was busy we were never made to feel rushed
