Sanjo Sushi Asian Cuisine

I’ve been coming to Sanjo Sushi for a while and the sushi quality is always really fresh. I’ve dined in and tried their teishoku, which was very good and nicely put together.

Their lunch bentos are one of my favourites. They are great value and very satisfying. I’ve also tried Sushi Well next door, but honestly it wasn’t as good as Sanjo in terms of freshness and overall quality.

My only wish is that they offered a dinner bento for takeout, since I don’t always have time to dine in. Other than that, it’s a solid spot that I keep coming back to.

Have eaten here a couple of times. Service is always great. Friends enjoy the very fresh seafood, I look forward to the delicious vegetarian and vegan options - balsamic reduction was an unexpected and delicious twist!

Really like the new set menu it's very Japanese style. Offers something a little different than all the other sushi places.

We tried Oshi for the first time, and loved it.

Used to love this place. But the last 2 times ive gone to oick up my food after being told it would take 20 mins, I waited over an hour. They accept way to many uber orders and now can not provide quality service. I waited for 35 minutes in the restaurant, clearly irritated, and was not even offered tea or water. Finally now, I have been offered a miso soup after again waiting over an hour! This is unacceptable customer service, hopefully they return to their old service, and realize less is more in this case.

We ordered a few platters for our work Christmas party and they did not disappoint! High quality sushi. We also have a person who is celiac on our crew and his order was made with care and separated delicately to ensure no cross contamination. Will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised to love this place. I usually go to another place in the area but they were closed randomly and I am so glad I got a chance to try here. Great service and food was inexpensive and very delicious. I will come back 100%

This was not a planned stop but im glad we did. Atmosphere was lovely and the hostess/waitress was welcoming. We ordered 4 rolls and the waitress let us know there was a combo that would be cheaper for us.
Food was great would definitely go again!

Sanjo sushi is hands down the best sushi restaurant in New Westminster and it has been my regular sushi place for more than a year.

Recently, there was a mix up on my recent order and the management/ownership team at Sanjo really went out of their way to resolve it and keep me as a loyal customer. That says a lot in today’s business market.

Hands down the best sushi in Uptown. Everything tastes fresh, the rolls are flavorful without being heavy, and the service is consistently great. Always a go-to spot when I’m craving sushi
