The service provided was satisfactory, and the staff appeared welcoming. However, the pricing structure for the ice cream was a point of concern. Specifically, the cost of a child's scoop at $5.25 before tax, which uses the same cup but contains 30% less product than a regular scoop priced at $6.15 before tax, warrants further review.

Third time, shared pizza, not as spectacular as ice cream, dough was pale and undercooked, toppings were sparse. I see what people say about staff, this time they were pretty clueless and not really helpful. Again didn't get to try Pizza, maybe next time but Ice Creams just as good as remembered. Sweet tangy pink grapefruit felt like eating crushed frozen fruit and Chocolate like a melted frozen chocolate, Scrumptious! Staff couldn't have been more pleasant. They do not do tastings, probably to much trouble when busy but do other food places??? Of course not. Maybe could do an after you pay, try a couple? Anyway great Icecream
Couldn’t try the pizza but if its as fabulous as the ice cream…. Best Ice cream i’ve had here and I’ve tried a lot! This is tasty, luscious cold and soft. Service was fine, wish we could have had more, hopefully another time.

The server didn’t look interested to serve us at all even as we made eye contact and tried to engage them. Also the gelato didn’t look fresh, it was mostly melted and looked like it hadn’t been topped up in sometime or just leftovers? Not impressed

I came in on a early afternoon weekday, the place wasn’t busy but the server behind the cashier just looked at us and looked away standing around without even asking if we wanted to order, greet us or even smile back. Also the selection of ice cream was terrible, half of the gelato bins were empty and the rest were a melted mess. We’re definitely never coming here again..

Coffee`s were great. Service was very nice. However, the gelato was too sweet. We tried 3 double scoops. I live in the city and can walk to Mario`s and La Casa. Work downtown within 2 minutes from Bella Gelateria on Howe and a few others within 7-10 minutes. Sincerely, too sweet. Do a blind taste test and bring in Mario`s and La Casa. Flavor for flavor with the staff blindfolded.

Crazy that for a $10 scoop of ice cream you can't try any flavours. Miniscule scoop too. Not worth going here

We came to Tre Galli Gelato one evening as a group of four. The shop wasn’t busy, but the staff completely ignored us when we tried to get their attention. When we finally asked if we could sample a flavour, we were met with an irritated “no” and a dismissive attitude. It wasn’t just unhelpful — it felt outright rude.
I’ve gotten coffee here before and it was okay, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. We ended up walking away without ordering anything. Really disappointing service.

Stracciatella Italian approved.
Not too sweet, nice small chunks of dark chocolate, and creamy firodilatte.

Gelato quality and selection has tanked. I used to go here all the time with my kids but now it's almost $30 for cones for a family of 4 and the Gelato is almost flavourless. Going to Rocky Point instead.

Visited this ice cream place with high hopes, but unfortunately left very disappointed. The biggest issue? They don’t allow customers to try samples before buying — something you’d expect as standard at any decent ice cream shop. When I politely asked, the employee simply said, “You try it, you like it, you come back — else, it is what it is.”
That kind of attitude says a lot about how little they care about customer satisfaction. Ice cream is a personal choice, and not being able to taste before spending $6–$8 on a scoop is frustrating and unreasonable. It’s not about being cheap — it’s about ensuring customers find something they actually enjoy.
If you’re proud of your product, let people try it first. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others. Plenty of other spots offer better service and a friendlier approach.
We asked for a small test which they refused. I ended up with a very sour overpriced small Sicilian Lemon scoop which I couldn’t finish half of it. Why not letting people taste a bit and not lose customers?
They know how to make matcha frappe!
Mocha was great too.
Best than anyone, I love it, located near the window side so it’s good to seeing outside while having some dessert
Worst food ever. They’re selling $3 frozen Walmart pizza for $18 and claiming that the pizza is made by them. I recognize a paper thin tasteless, cheap frozen pizza when I see one. The panini was equally terrible. Save your money and don’t go there.
The atmosphere is very cozy with beautiful views, the music is a little loud to carry a conversation. The server was very polite. The coffee was very tasty with well executed xpresso and steam milk. Unfortunately no gluten-free options to eat there.
