A real gem of a place. Food was good and the staff was friendly. I would go back
So..the food is great... But I went to the bathroom and when I was waiting in line for the bathroom I heard squeaking noises. At first I thought it was nothing then I looked under the table to the right of the kitchen door and there was a poison trap and a sticky pad that had a live mouse on it... Waiting to die of dehydration... I'm not a vegan and even I know this is the MOST inhumane way to deal with pests. I was very upset by this. Will probably not go there again because of this... It's unfortunate because the food is really good but what kind of place calls themselves vegan and treats animals like this? Sticky pads are extremely inhumane.
I’ve never tried Vietnamese food before, so I thought going there would be a great start, which indeed was. The server was really friendly and helped us with understanding the menu and our options. And food was a fair price and great quality.
Amazing food, so many vegan options, chill atmosphere, great service.
We’re not vegans, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but the food really impressed us. I had the chow mein and my wife went with the curry. Both were super tasty and filling. The curry was a bit thick. Service was warm, portions were generous, and the whole experience just felt easy and pleasant. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Definitely my favourite Vietnamese restaurant, I’ve never been disappointed when coming here! Amazing broth and the peanut sauce is to die for!! I’m always scared of getting peanut sauce because of past places having no flavour in it but here at Tina’s that is never an issue, best tasting peanut sauce ever.
Quiet restaurant with lots of vegetarian/vegan options, as per the name. Ingredients clearly listed, which I appreciated. Some of the meat substitute seasonings felt a little off for what you might imagine from the descriptions, but it seemed good quality overall. Service was pretty decent - had to ask for our tea refill, but they responded quickly. The environment was quiet and pleasant, and I noticed a few single diners just chilling and eating there.
I've traveled all over the world trying vegan restaurants, and I have to say—the flavors at this place are absolutely incredible. I ordered the B2 (I can’t remember the exact name), and the faux chicken was delicious, especially with that perfect touch of lemon. What makes this spot really special is that the entire menu is 100% vegan—fully plant-based, which I truly appreciate.
Every order here makes a difference. Supporting a business like this helps them cover rent, pay their staff, and keep doing what they do best—offering amazing vegan food. I’ll definitely be coming back!
One of my favourite pho places! Really delicious and flavourful broth that doesn’t feel you feeling too heavy. I’m not a vegan but much prefer this soup to many other options. Love all the veggies and vegan toppings. Really friendly and quick service.
This was the most disappointing vegan dining experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a noodle soup dish and it was mostly soup with very little amount of noodles… The food was so bland that I had to add salt and hoisen sauce that the restaurant had to give the soup flavour. Really shocked that this restaurant has a 4.6 rating on the reviews. Sorry, I will definitely not be repeat customer. The service was OK.

I eat meat and this is one of the best restaurants in the Lower Mainland for vegan food and food period - i'd choose it over a meat menu any day. I really don't understand any 1-star review of Tina's; it's wonderful.
The food is fantastic. The portions are good—not too much, not little. If you are hungry, it will fill you well. The majority of the food is vegan, which is fantastic. And if your friends aren't vegan, they have vegan options, too.
They have a good variety of food: baguettes, rice rolls, pho, soup, noodles, etc., so you have options for warm and cold weather. They also offer hot and cold drinks. And they always bring us free tea. The staff is always kind. And the price is very reasonable.
The washroom is the only thing I think could be better for us customers.
I have attached here the photos of a couple of times my husband and I ate there. I genuinely recommend the Tina Restaurants (previously named Vegan Cafe)🥰
The pho is simple but delicious and very comforting. Love the salad rolls.
Great vegan restaurant! Love how many options there are to choose from, and their vegan meats are so good!
All the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. It's a great cozy place for a hot bowl of curry noodles during winter times , I'll probably go there again
