I was just looking for something different to try, and the barista at Waves suggested the espresso on tonic — and I’m so glad I said yes. It sounded unusual, but turned out to be one of the most refreshing drinks I’ve ever had. The espresso was rich and smooth, and the tonic gave it this light, fizzy, citrusy twist that totally surprised me.
It’s the kind of drink that wakes you up but also feels fun and summery — almost like a treat. I sat there sipping it slowly, just enjoying the moment. Definitely something I’ll be coming back for. If you’re curious, just go for it. You might find a new favourite too.

Really empty when I went in. The 3 employees were all discussing an order while the customer was trying to tell them what it was - they ignored her. She had to prompt them to charge her for the drink.
Service was fine for me, however, I got an iced mocha and all I tasted was milk. I'm not even sure there was coffee in there. It tasted like chocolate milk.
Prices are really high too. $18 for 2 iced mocha.
Edit: changing my star ratings because when talking to the store, they offered to make another coffee for free and really took the feedback to heart. Apparently there are new hires that are being trained.
I'm happy to report the remade coffee was much better than the initial one!

I come here quite often as Waves coffee is never disappointing, they have a raspberry white chocolate cake-pop that fulfills my sweet cravings, and most of the staff are great. Himanshu is always giving exceptional customer service, and I hope management recognizes his efforts in this establishment.
