2/3 of the pastel is just dough, and the little filling it had, was more corn than chicken and WITHOUT cheese. No cheese came. I'm disappointed because $16 dollars is not cheap for a pastel. Sad.

Entitled teenager staff member won't give you a smile and seemed miserable to be working there. I asked about a product (they didnt have it), said thank you and headed to the door but she tried to get sarcastic on me for no reason. Really bad service.

A little disappointed, I spent 20 minutes waiting for two pastéis, one kibbeh and one brigadeiro, and when I got home thinking I was going to eat a palm heart pastel, it tasted like aubergine. Very sad. I think they changed the pastel recipe. Not good at all.

If you’re craving authentic bite-size treats like PASTEL🤤🤤🤤🤤, coxinha, kibe, or pão de queijo, this place absolutely delivers! Everything tastes just like the snacks you’d find at a food stand in Brazil ..fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The pastel is crispy and golden🤤🤤( the BEST), the coxinha has that perfect creamy chicken filling, and every bite takes you straight back home💔( I miss Brasil )..

The staff is super friendly, the vibe is cozy, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they make. Whether you’re Brazilian or just love discovering new flavors, Whatafood will make your taste buds happy. ❤️

Highly recommend grabbing a mix of everything you won’t regret it! ( also check out the Churros absolutely Amazing)🤩

New brand, new prices and some amazing itens on the menu. The cake and the pudim are amazing and a good price for such a large portion. Coxinha and empadão are also delicious.

Great Brazilian food made fresh, pastels were steaming when you opened them! Carne seca pastel was the standout, but the coxinhas and empada were great as well. Some Brazilian groceries available as well.

I had the chicken coxinhas at their Car Free Day stand and they were really good.

The shrimp pastel specials were my favourite before they discontinued them. The cheese pastel is almost as good. Definitely a hidden gem of a cafe!! I hope more people discover their food :)

Acai options here were better than my dreams and loved how the fibers in the berries were kept in tact in the smoothie and everything is made with such care and patience. We are so lucky to have this place and beautiful new branding too. Would love to try the matte teas and other snacks again too

The atmosphere is now better, but the quality seems to be getting worse with prices still rising.
