Young Bean Korean BBQ

The food was good but the service was terrible. We sat for at least 10 minutes with dirty dishes on the table waiting for a take out box until I went and got it myself. We will not be back and will tell friends about the experience.

I had a pork soup and kimchi fried rice, it was amazing. From the banchan to the broth it reminded me of the restaurants in Seoul. Thank you for bringing authentic and homey Korean food so close to my house. 💗 Can't wait to try more from their menu.

We went for an impromptu dinner with 2 friends and absolutely loved it! I’m new to Korean food but the woman who helped us was so helpful and friendly. Everything she recommended was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

WOW!!!! New Westminster we did it we finally have an excellent authentic Korean bbq house the food is as in I was in Gyeongju eating extremely delicious so much that we spent at least 1.5 hour enjoy our self. The service was most attentive and I really recommend eating the Kim chi is delicious and it goes well with any meat and the short soared ribs..oh and the Korean beer Cass. True an memorable evening.

Not much in the way of décor or ambiance but friendly people and good lunch specials. I'm addicted to bi bim bap, so, I confess, that's why we were there. I've had better but this was pretty good. They were quite skimpy with the ban shan, the side dishes, small and boring. When we arrived, we were the sole customers but the place filled up very quickly by 12:30, mostly regulars. Good sign.

Bit pricey but the food is great and staff super friendly

The food was good, service was good and everything was served hot. The only disappointment was that I thought that this would be a place with the individual bbq cook pits. It does not have that though. Everything is made in the kitchen. So I was curious and asked why. The owner was very helpful in explaining that they are not a bbq "grill" at the moment. It takes a long time to get that approved through food services and the city so in the meantime they are making the authentic dishes for the consumer and that that might change in the future for this establishment. Right now, that is not the case.

Had dinner with girl friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing and a great value for the price. The short ribs and the bulgogi are the bomb!!!.. We highly recommend it. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, Erica. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Kudos!

This place is unreal. It doesn't matter what kind of food you like, you will guaranteed find something on the menu that you will love. Fantastic staff (sort of a mom and pop spot) that have a lot of passion for their food. I asked a lot of questions about their cooking methods, and they make absolutely everything in house. They boil their soy sauce for up to 7 hours, and their Gochujang is the same, along with their soups etc. Service was very quick, the food was absolutely incredible, and they even bring you out some free starters before the mains come out. 10/10, I'm going back with my whole family so I can give them more business. Please try this place!

The food was pretty tasty!! Their Seafood Pancake was quite different then others and I love it! Good service as well! Lots of parking spots as well! Would go back again!

Came here with a well sized group of friends one evening during a weekday, staff were very welcoming and friendly, atmosphere was very home-like. Food came quick and flavours were great; chef and hosts take pride in their service. Ordered a wide variety of dishes and all were good and well portioned! Easy parking outside in the lot and good amount of space inside.

Staffs and owner are very welcoming and friendly. They usually offer us special authentic Korean kimchi. Variety of tasty food to choose from their menu. The place is tidy and clean. We always have good times there with my family. Highly recommended!

Being relatively new to Korean food, my husband and I settled on Young Bean's Special Dinner. We had a choice of 1 of 5 meat dishes,1 of 3 fried rice dishes and 3/3 combo dishes (sweet potato noodles, 3 different pancakes (kimchi, Zucchini and potato) and a seasonal salad with Korean style dressing. Price was$18.95. We both really enjoyed our choices and were quite full at the end of the meal. Our server was friendly and helpful. Only criticism was that when we were ready to pay the bill she seemed to disappear.

Delicious food and such amazing staff! Took the time to explain what each dish was and made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to come back and try different menu items!
