the food is good, but the owner/waiter spends too much time chatting with the cook, and not looking around at the customers and what they may need. I have waited 5-10 minutes to get her attention to refill coffee or place order. Too bad because the restaurant and food is very good.

I've been getting my breakfast here almost weekly for a few years. Friendly staff and great fast service! However, I recently got burned by one of thier policies (might of been a language barrier or miscommunication) I asked to substitute ham for sausage and was told we can do that. When I got my bill I saw a $3 add on for the sausage. I asked I thought it was a substitute? I was told this is how they do substitutes. So I paid full price for the breakfast but they removed...

Our first time to Dakotas, and we had a wonderful time, sitting on the patio, watching the sunset. The setting is lovely, they have a well thought-out menu, the food was great, and our waiter was very attentive and engaging. If we lived nearby, we'd be regulars!
