We visited the Winery in June 2025 on our way to Sooke. The 4 sampler wines were very good; howeve, the one that really stood our was the Deep Cove Malbec Red Wine 2021. It was Excelent and tasted like "this goes with steak!" So much so, that we purchased a bottle and enjoyed it last night with our steak. I only wish we could get Deep Cove wines here in Ontario.

Deep Cove Winery is a lovely local spot offering excellent wine and food. Their charcuterie board is generous, and the hummus in the Mediterranean bowl is a highlight. The winery also serves as a beautiful wedding venue with multiple spaces, incredibly kind and professional staff, and the option to serve their own wine. Guests can enjoy wine tastings with generous portions, accompanied by attentive service on the dog-friendly patio.
The winery is truly a treasure on Vancouver Island, with a pristine example of an island winery at its best. Nestled just across from the charming Deep Cove Chalet, this stunning property is a beautiful space with a calm soothing atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, making every visitor feel incredibly special, and the wines are absolutely sublime, showcasing the unique terroir of the region.
Visitors can opt for a wine flight, which offers incredible value and allows them to sample a variety of the winery's best offerings with great explanation. It is a very favourite place to go for lunch, to share a bottle of wine, or for a jazz night. The food is delicious, with amazing food pairings and new daily additions like the pino colada shrimp. It is an opportunity to relax, enjoy, and create lasting memories in one of the most picturesque settings on the island.
