It’s dangerous having the Fox & Monocle right next door to our office—their consistently outstanding dishes are impossible to resist. Every meal feels like an explosion of flavour, crafted with incredible care and creativity. Easily one of the best spots in town!

Our group of 4 enjoyed a delicious meal with great service and felt it was terrific value. Highly recommended. Chicken pot pie, Seafood ravioli and Duck breast were highlights.

My partner and I decided to visit the Fox & Monocle on our way back to Vancouver. We were running late for our reservation, so I called the restaurant, and they gladly accommodated our request to move it.
After we arrived, everything went smoothly. The servers were friendly, and I really appreciated that the restaurant was bright, you could clearly see the food you ordered and the faces of people around you.
As vegetarians, we were happy to find that the chef was willing to modify a few dishes from the main menu to suit our dietary needs. We especially enjoyed the mushroom tart and the risotto. My Old Fashioned cocktail was excellent, and the rosé recommended by our server was surprisingly good.
We’re glad we had the chance to visit this restaurant. Wishing them continued success and keep up the great work!

A fabulous place with very good food and service.
Dogs are allowed in the patio, the atmosphere and the cuisine all give it European vibes which is rather rare in North America.
I’ve been told the chef studied in England, that might explain it. We’ll be back, cheers!

Whether you are visiting early in the day for coffee and a pastry or later for a dinner, you can’t go wrong. Most places that try to do it all miss the mark on both. Not the fox! Top notch coffee, excellent pastries (quiche, breakfast sandwich and cinnamon rolls are our favourite) are perfect for breakfast and their local, well executed elevated dishes are an amazing dinner. A definite must visit!
