Food was excellent, as was the service. Very friendly and quick. We were disappointed in the wine however. It is definitely not worth going there for wine tasting, but if you're looking for a great meal in a friendly atmosphere this is your place.

I recently went here for a sit-down meal. I have mostly done take-outs in the past. On this visit, I thought the hard-to-read sign out front said to take a menu and choose a seat. I did that and waited and waited at my table for a server. It wasn't that busy and servers were around to other tables taking plates away etc. When I went to the counter, I said I'd been sitting waiting for quite awhile and she said, yeah, we don't really check the tables and said I needed to order at the counter. She wasn't nasty, just not very helpful. I would have left but was very hungry and the food is really good here. My meal was very tasty but came with a few ingredients I had asked to not have. Not a huge deal - I just removed them from my meal. When I went to pay at the counter, the woman started ringing me in, then without saying anything to me, started chatting with another employee about another customer's purchase. It was all very odd - maybe I just caught them all on an off-day! I would purchase from here again, but would probably just do take-out.

I don't understand how this place has such good reviews. The service was subpar. The food is actually horrible and the wine was puke-worthy. I wish this was an over exaggeration but I promise you it's not.

Could be an amazing place, but it’s not.. Seems like it’s up for sale or something.. No wait staff whatsoever… Dirty tables, dirty, washrooms, dirty floor… You have to order when you pay and then go back and get your food and serve yourself… This place could be fantastic if it just had the right owners , staff, and management team-!!! I won’t be going out back, unfortunately, until I hear things have changed.. It was a great idea, though..

Myself and my 2 children went there for lunch.
At 1st I didn't know you seat yourself as people were standing in front of the sign.
Sat down , after 5 min when no one came over I went up the counter waited for employees to stop talking to each other and found out we have to grab the menus go figure what we want then come backUp and order.
When it was ready went up to retrieve the food , the kids tried their clam chowder it tasted burnt I went up and told the lady it seemed like everything settled to the bottom and burnt she said no as its 3/4 full , that made no sense , I switched them for tomato but by then the kids weren't In the mood to eat.
I noticed you have to take your plates over to an area and scrape the food off into a bucket, the paper stuff into recycle bin and cutlery into a bucket with water in it.
Bill was $72 and we did everything except cook it.
Not for me

So unfortunately I write this review tentatively as I really wanted to like this winery, however I have to agree with @ colleen Stubbe that this place is suffering from a identity crisis in that it's a winery/cidery and informal casual dinner. Find your lane and run with it as I'm sure you will find your groove. Currently it's not meeting either of it's identities.
The wine was terrible. The cider was worse. Smelled and tasted like manure or someone spilled rotten olives in the cider. Getting our own wine flights and food to walk out to the terrace was difficult to say the least. Your one rock away from having to buy another nasty flight. The fries were really good as long as you can hobble back in to grab your s&p or whatever else you require. 90$ for me and my husband was sad. Tipping for pouring sparkling wine that was clearly flat and doing our own service for girls more interested in their phones The charcuterie board was dismal. I'm sorry to write this review but needs to be heard to make change. I love to support small businesses and I hope this review is read and change is made.

Used to be our go to for treats. Stopped by after a hiatus and everything has changed and quality has gone way down. Used to be one of the top carrot cakes ever, not anymore.
Probably the worst wine I’ve tasted on Vancouver so far - maybe it was off but not corked -dry vinegar
What a great homestyle cafe/restaurant. Food was delicious, coffee was good and the bakery has some incredible treats. Will definitely be back here.
