This is always a good spot for lunch. Not crowded on the weekend and bonus flight departures to entertain you. Lots of room, give them a try.

The food was good, not great, but the service was excellent. Our server Jade was fantastic (thank you once again). The portions were large and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to going back to try their breakfast.

Dietary restrictions: They made the modifications we requested, and didn’t mess them up.

Went here with the family, and it was a wonderful experience. I had the Philly beef dip and it was exceptional!, I’d recommend this place to anyone local or coming to Victoria.

Weird vibes. Called in to ask about the menu and they didn’t say anything about being full or there being a wait for a table. We came in 6 minutes after the phone call and suddenly all of the tables were reserved even though there was only one table with a reserved sign.

This is a great place for lunch or dinner. The food is great and fresh quality, definitely good value for your money! You cannot get a better close up view of Victoria Airport, if you are a plane nut like me 😁

Ordered the Reuben..... Came with bread that's been buttered on the outside just in the middle of the bread and toasted and just plain wheat bread, one piece of meat that was also precooked. One small piece of cheese and a teaspoon of kraut. Was really dissapointed after reading the other reviews. Friend had a hamburger said it was ok but fries were processed not real fries!

Excellent food!!! My favorite place in Sidney!!! and now they have a patio!!!..)// UPDATE 2024... in years and years we never have done a reservation.. we arrived today and the host/receptionist asked us bluntly if we had reservations as we said no, he just said" we're full" not kind, not offering an excuse or how long will it take to get us a table.. I said to him, we never make reservations here, we kept doing his thing, ignoring us, They have a blackboard sign outside telling new business hours... probably would have been good to put something in that matter... instead of making the regulars feel like crap... such a pity ...Pete the Chef is superb!!!!

It was tucked away right by the airport. Food was basic, but pretty good, atmosphere a bit dingy and very basic, booths were across from the bar and dark, further back sunny but cafeteria style with dated and worn tables and chairs. Service was very good.
Ok for a quick lunch!

I recently had the pleasure of spending three weeks in Victoria, BC, and after dining out at various spots every day, I can confidently say that The Spitfire Grill was the highlight of my entire trip. As someone visiting from Nova Scotia, I was eager to explore the culinary landscape of this beautiful city, and The Spitfire Grill not only met but exceeded every expectation.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Nestled right on the runway, The Spitfire Grill offers a unique dining experience where you can watch planes take off as you enjoy your meal—a thrilling backdrop that adds to the charm of this hidden gem.

But the real star of the show is the food. Words truly can't do it justice; it's simply to die for. Every dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you're a fan of hearty breakfast classics, savory lunch options, or delectable dinner plates, The Spitfire Grill has something for everyone. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste that left me eagerly anticipating the next.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The team goes out of their way to accommodate every guest, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers is evident in every aspect of the service.

It's no exaggeration to say that The Spitfire Grill deserves to be featured on the Food Network. It's a hidden treasure that Victoria is lucky to have, and it's one I'll be dreaming about until my next visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and make this your next stop—you won't be disappointed.

Great food and service. Honestly way better food than I figured we would get out here by the airport.
Super impressed. It’s also possible to get unsalted fries for kids.
The Mexican salad is a winner.
