Our first experience a few weeks age was as follows: Fabulous food, great server, and terrific live music on a wonderful outdoor patio!
We went back a few weeks later and were told that since our reservation was for a group of six people that we were required to pay a fixed gratuity of 20%. This was very disappointing. It would seem that management does not understand that a gratuity is based on the quality of food and service not a fixed amount determined by management!

Great spot to stop before boarding the ferry. Great food, good drink selection and really good service. Outdoor patio was a nice bonus!

This is one amazing hidden gem very beautiful, quiet little area and romantic inside being here gives you a sense of relaxation. The staff are super friendly. The food is absolutely amazing from the beef dip to the crispy chicken sandwich and also the fried brussels sprouts are one of my faves here and is a must try. It’s off the beaten path but it’s worth the trip coming here.

Absolute gem of a place minutes from the ferry terminal. Portions were generous and definitely tasty food. Great beer selection. Could have spent twice as long there if I would not have been driving😜

Decided to go here for supper on the way back to catch a ferry. Had the calamari to share, the mac and cheese and shepherds pie. Everything tasted really good and particularly the shepherds pie. Service was excellent and there were many options for seating outside or in. If your looking for a nice pub with good food I recommend the Stonehouse Pub

We stopped here on the way to ferry from bike ride , tsawwassen to Sydney and back . Great little scenic ride. Had burgers and a pint. Awesome building. We sat in patio outside . Service was great considering only one gal for patio. Burgers and fries were great . Nice quiet little scenic place to stop at . Plenty busy so popular with locals i figure . Original stone structure and wood beams etc inside . Worth a stop for sure.

Food and service was good. Way too many US wines on the list. That was disappointing as there are so many great Canadian options. Our table was too small for 4 people to sit at comfortably.
Seated in the outdoor patio. It felt like being in a dog kennel. Almost every table had a dog near or under it. Several unruly loud dogs under no control. A most unpleasant experience. However, great service, the server apologized several times for the dogs barking, but not her fault. Leave your unruly dog at home. Won't sit on the patio again.
