We stumbled upon the Stonehouse Pub and could not have been happier. The outside looks like an old stone pub you would come across in Ireland. The inside is cozy. We sat in an atrium-type building with beautiful, green mossy views. We enjoyed the Sambucca Prawns and the Pulled Pork and Beer cheese sandwich. Both were amazing - filled with wonderful flavors and good portions. Our server was down-to-earth and fun.

We stumbled on this gem and we loved it. The food was great, the staff was warm and friendly, and the restaurant is such a cool place. We highly recommend.

Just took a guest there for there 70 the birthday and after leaving the pub I get all the praise for the GREAT meal……and you folks did all the work and made it happen!
My only thought is …Just keep what you’re doing because it’s working well……
As one fellow said ages back..” I shall return “

A great place to walk to when your BC Ferry gets delayed by 7 1/2 hours and you need some food, wifi and beer :)

Comfort food extraordinaire! My wife and I are just back from lunch at the Stonehouse Pub in Sidney by the Sea located in North Saanich by the BC Ferries terminal. Absolutely delicious. We shared the Canoe Cove chowder which was full of seafood and oh so creamy. Probably the best we have had in Greater Victoria and I have tried a lot of them The Baked Mac and Beer Cheese made with cavatappi noodles, house made beer cheese sauce and bacon, pickled onions and pesto drizzle melted in my mouth. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Sambuca prawns, the best prawn dish she has ever had she observed. Add the friendly server, Emma, recently from Quebec, into the mix and it was a perfect outing. Can’t wait to go back!

Firstly, this place looks like something out of a storybook. The character of the building/surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and creates such a wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful and highly attentive. Not to sound dramatic, but the nachos were the best nachos we have ever had. Every bite was an explosion of flavour in your mouth. We also had the cinnamon bun cheesecake which was equally delicious with the absolute perfect flavour profile. 12/10 would recommend
