I’ve always liked this coffee shop it’s one of my favorites. This time, I tried the donut, and it was interesting. It was really fresh, but I couldn’t quite figure out the flavor. It tasted like a mix of blueberry, raspberry, or maybe grape? Not sure!

The dough was super soft and fresh, so I still enjoyed it. Even if the flavor was a bit confusing, I’d definitely go back!

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service
I decided to try your donuts after seeing the advertisement outside. Before ordering, I specifically asked if you could cut the donuts in half, and your staff said yes, which is why I bought three to go—especially the peanut donut, which is way too big to eat without cutting.

However, after I paid (and even tipped!), a supervisor suddenly walked over and told the cashier they couldn’t cut the donuts. I clearly overheard the conversation, despite their attempt to whisper. The cashier even asked, “But I already told the customer we could, what should I do?” and the supervisor just said, “It’s fine, just smile and tell them no.” Excuse me?? That’s extremely disrespectful.

At first, I thought maybe I had misheard, so I asked again when I received my order—just to clarify. That’s when the supervisor, with a rude and mean attitude, slammed a plate and a dull knife on the counter and said, “If you really need to cut it, do it here yourself.” The entire interaction was hostile and unnecessary. Did I owe you money or something?

I’m not mad because you refused to cut the donuts—I’m mad because you promised a service, and then went back on your word while acting like it was completely normal to do so. If you had just said “we don’t cut donuts” from the start, or at least spoken to me politely, I would have chosen smaller ones and moved on. Instead, you broke a promise and handled it in an unprofessional and disrespectful way. Very disappointing experience.

And honestly, even if I ignore the service issue, the donuts weren’t even good. They were over-fried and way too tough, so much so that I could barely bite through them. Definitely not worth the trouble.

The worst coffee I’ve ever had! It’s bitter, and the foam in the cappuccino doesn’t hold. It’s impossible to drink. I gave this place three chances, and not once was I satisfied. This was my last visit. Although, I must say, the atmosphere in the café is absolutely lovely.

I stumbled upon the 49th Parallel Coffee Roaster Cafe and was immediately charmed by its cute and cozy atmosphere. The cafe itself is a great spot to relax and unwind, with a warm and inviting vibe. But what really impressed me was the quality of their coffee and baked goods. The freshly brewed coffee was rich and full-bodied, and the donuts were absolutely delicious. The mango-filled glazed donut was a standout favorite - the combination of sweet and tangy flavors was amazing!
My only drawback is that the cafe is a bit on the pricier side. However, considering the high quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making each drink and pastry, I'd say it's worth the splurge.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options as well as gluten free options

Parking: Since it’s in downtown, it’s hard to find parking.

Tell me how you enter in the hot chocolate festival and then don’t have the hot chocolate. The guy at the register wasn’t pleasant to deal with and the London fogs were very watery. Really want to go back but I’m not feeling convinced.

The iced coffee is weak i don’t know what’s going on here but not only the cold brew coffee doesn’t have enough coffee or doesn’t brew it long enough but the cane syrup is now dilluded with water which make the measurement of your drink all wrong. Also make the drink less tasty since it’s not well brewed and mostly water….. it used to be better…

Two Donuts came to more than twelve dollars and they don't even have Earl Gray Anymore. I don't understand what kind of Cafe doesn't have A London fog as an option for people who don't drink coffee l.

This coffee shop is a surprise, which makes this autumn rainy weekend afternoon start to smell fragrant, warm and mellow.

This is the kind of coffee you'll love in one bite.

After checking, I found out that this is the famous 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters in Vancouver. They are the representative of Vancouver’s own roasting brand, one of the top ten roasting factories in the world, and a frequent visitor to the WBC World Barista Competition. And you can also drink their beans in many cafes in China, such as Hangzhou Cafe Bajiao Cup.

The iconic Tiffany blue makes you unconsciously mobilize your elegant and refined imagination, slow down and sit down gently in the beautiful bubble you created. Turning around to look at the street outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the various passers-by who were soaked by the rain seemed to have their own romantic stories. When a cup of latte with an attractive aroma is placed in front of you, the beautiful and impermanent latte art will urge you to quickly experience all the flavors of the moment with your blooming taste buds.

So, one such afternoon was left in the sea of ups and downs.

Like to dabble in karma and save their Lucky's donuts for next time. Go out, pull up your hood, the weather is cool in autumn.

I liked their cute merch. It’s unique that some locations have own designed tote. I cannot wait to taste good coffee and the mouth-watering donuts from “Lucky’s donuts”
The cafe march was something I wanted to commemorate during my trip to Vancouver. Limited design totes are sold at some stores. Next time I'll have coffee and donuts.
