We had such a wonderful experience at Fishworks, the main reason was because of Tom. His service was fantastic from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

The menu features must-try items like salmon tartare and salmon Wellington with a pistachio crust. While the service can be inconsistent at times, the overall dining experience is worth a return visit.
The restaurant offers a variety of fresh BC oysters and a superb grilled octopus starter. Main courses like halibut in beurre blanc and seared scallops with squash ravioli are both crowd-pleasers. Guests can indulge in desserts like poached pears served with house-made coconut ice cream. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring food is served promptly and dishes are nicely portioned, making for a very enjoyable experience.
The lively atmosphere often sees busy crowds, but the staff, especially the bartender, handle requests with ease. Oysters, clams with lemongrass broth, bread, calamari, fried shrimp, clam chowder, and Caesar salad receive high praise, with some items rated as perfect 10/10 or even 12/10 for the salad. Guests appreciate the delicious food and friendly service, which contribute to memorable visits.
This place is really quiet, my grand dad loves coming here, the food is delicious even though I would love bigger portions especially for the pasta with lobster. It’s pretty expensive but it’s worth the price.
