I was looking for a place that didn’t serve the typical Domino’s-style pizza, but something more authentically Italian. I found this pizzeria and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and the stone oven pizza was definitely the highlight of the evening.
We enjoyed some pizzas for dinner. The homemade fennel sausages topping on the Salsiccia pizza was delicious. The Verde Noce was an amazing combination of toppings for a vegetarian pizza (walnut, goat cheese, mozzarella, sautéed oyster mushrooms, caramelized onions, basil, roasted red pepper, pesto sauce). Pizza crust was perfectly baked. Service was friendly and efficient.
Alberello Pizzeria is a cozy family-run restaurant located off Lonsdale. They offer a brisk take-out service, as well as comfortable seating inside and outside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, whether for a cozy dinner or a celebration with friends. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making guests feel more like they are in someone's home than just at a restaurant. They have a small wine selection, with BYOB options on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The food at Alberello Pizzeria is consistently outstanding. From the perfectly Verde Noche pizza to rich, flavorful sauces, everything tastes like it was made with love and tradition. The ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous. The presentation is always beautiful. The Caprese salad is fresh and flavorful, and the lasagna is perfectly seasoned. The pizzas have a crisp, delicious crust and great tomatoes. The stone oven pizza is a definite highlight, with a crust baked to perfection and toppings that impress.
While the pasta dishes haven't always met expectations, the overall dining experience remains satisfying. The staff goes out of their way to make each visit special, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere adds to the charm of the restaurant.
